Of your 18000+ posts how many of them are you purposely talking down at people? Most of your recent posts do exactly that. Is that how you acted before becoming a mod too?

I disagree. Daniel is a special case. You either want him here and put up with his transgressions or you ban him completely. IMHO, he deserves special treatment. He gets special latitude and any concerns should go via PM. Once the decision is made that he needs to be banned, the ban should be perm. A temp-ban isn't going to make him change his "wicked" ways, and only can serve to incite an industry insider. If you're gonna piss off an industry insider, then by golly do it right (full ban). However, you really need to accept that he gets special treatment.

When I get a 1-day ban, there is much rejoicing among the masses, and I can whine all I want on social media and no one will care. Daniel has a significant amount of influence and getting into a pissing match with him should be a last resort (and a final one).

What I've noticed is that you provide no information to back it up. It's perfectly alright to be this way if it's justified and you're speaking from a correct position.

You're negative and arrogant just for the sake of being that way. If you're arrogant you should be able to back it up. Since you can't and won't you probably should stop. It makes the forum look terrible and your already obvious lack of intelligence becomes acute in its damage to thoughtful posters.

When i was a kid, the general manager of the large oil company my dad worked for got special seating on the balcony of the restaurant one night. I asked my dad why does he get to eat there, he laughed and said "if you don't get the special perks, why bother trying to be at the top".

I'm not saying DN is the general manager of poker, but he is a poker pro, that many 2+2 members look up to, and respect. He should have been cut some slack, and treated better than this.

It's a kind of corruption. What does eating have to do with oil? Your father didn't tell you about what the general manager gets on the top: power in his daily work and lots of money to spend. I understand your father didn't want to give you the whole truck load. But now you can think for yourself.
Daniel was given some slack. He got just a one day ban, not a three day. That has angered some of our members. I'm not among them btw.
