I don't understand why we can't edit posts for an unlimited period of time after they are posted? Yeah, I understand that it makes potential issues of people getting quoted then changing OP to make it look like quoter edited things etc, but that is a small issue.

Also, where can I change my username? I know it's possible because I have 20k+ posts of HFBoards which uses the same base for the forum, and both name changes and editing are possible there (though I have never changed by name there and thus don't know how too).

1) it's not a small issue if thousands of dollars are changing hands on the terms of a prop bet.

2) my understanding is that 2+2 only allows name changes in exceptional circumstances by personal appeal to Mat. You've only been here 10 minutes, just start a new account if you don't like the name.
