be glad that it closed. its not healthy for people (and you know who they are, there were many of them) to get as riled up/angry as they were about someone they don't know and have never even met before. Its also not healthy to have the thread open for Trooper either. Its clear that he read every single comment in that thread and that his mental health is deteriorating because of it. He puts way too much stock into what internet posters say about him and was even creating fake accounts to defend himself. those are the cons of re-opening the thread. what are the Pros of re-opening the thread????? I really cant think of any.

Keep it closed. It's not fair to have the new Vegas Vloggers have to sift through 20 digs at Trooper in order to read the couple posts about themselves. The other Vegas Vloggers deserve their own thread.

I don't like the censorship of the forum, but at the same time, we've ripped Trooper so hard that he's making fake accounts to come to his own defense. We've said all there is to say.

I hope someday that he allows himself to be vulerable enough to actually improve his life to the point that his vlog is actually worthy of House of Blogs. The same way we ripped on him for his poor treatment of the homeless guy, is the way we've been acting to him.

Theres a huge difference with the homeless guy tho, he didn't dish it out to Trooper. The way Trooper portrays his persona is the cause of all of this, acts like he Tough as **** but has thin skin, says he super fast but moves like a turtle, claims to be so much smarter than everyone else "they all idiots" who happen to be same "Idiots" who take his money. His perception of himself rubs people the wrong way. He is clearly a fragile narcissist, many people gave him tough love mainly Steve007 ( who made tons of great points without being a dick about it) I wasn't as harsh months ago but I did give tough love in the way Steve did for a period but that just turned out to be a waste of time. Tim needs to sit back and look at everything from a honest point of view, until then there will be haters and **** talkers no matter where he go's.

I do agree with this decision tho. I commend the Mods for protecting this sensitive deranged fragile human being.

Thread closing = Trooper wins. I agree a couple of guys in the thread are crazy. But it was fun while it lasted.

One last thing I want to mention is where I think Troopers recent outburts and frustration is coming from. I do not believe it was from the giftcard incident. It was from that thread and not specifically comments either. Do you remember when Andrews vlog first appeared and Trooper immediately went on twitter proclaiming himself to be the King. As the weeks have gone on Andrews following has grown, his videos are excellently made just like Troopers. You can tell Andrew took this very seriously from the start and comes in with a more appealing poker game,age,social life,persona. Andrew has/is all the things the posters from the thread wanted Trooper to improve upon. It was rather obvious his following was going to grow rapidly from the first Vlog, this annoys Trooper to no end. The thread seemed to be worried about stalkers,creeps,crazy people but honestly once Andrew surpasses him in subs I would be concerned for his safety.

If I were advising you Trooper if you plan to be able to continue to monetize your videos you need to take a different approach. Most peoples time is limited, there is more competitors in your area and your in a direct competition vs them to gain/maintain market share. I imagine most people that visit your site are already involved in poker in some shape or form. Most of these people are naturally going to flock to the player winning the most money or playing the highest stakes. You are in a interesting position right now since your following (Large market share) has come to a cross roads. I think rebranding yourself could do the channel some good. Imagine if you came back from Aruba and had a new lease on life and started to cater to the beginner players, and you really make a effort to improve your poker game. It could become the epic "If first you don't succeed try try again" story of the century when you actually did put in the work and get rewarded with the results.

Ridiculous that it is closed. It is one big circlejerk with the mods so I don't expect it to reopen. The next question is where does this take us? Does a new VLOG forum need to be built? Nobody blogs anymore, so that board can be nuked.

I saw that coming a long time. I mean as a BBV/4L kinda reg I'm all for a little trollling and having some fun but, I do not know exactly why, that thread attracted some very disturbed ppl and behaviour. Since vlogs continue to rise in popularity it would surely be good to cover them on 2p2 in some form but apparently it requires heavy moderation

a couple of morons ruined it for everyone. as i said in the locked thread, i viewed it like ootv. i just like discussion on shows i watch. then you got dudes giving out his address and making serial killer videos... trolling is fine. Trooper deserved a lot of it, but dudes just keep escalating it.
