Click + to read 1st post feature - not working?

I have tried within two browsers, and am finding that when I click the + to read first post, it does not take me to the post preview.

Is this functionality not working at the moment ?

Dunno. I always click the title itself for getting to the first post. Didn't actually notice (or have forgotten about as redundant) the "+" feature existed before you told me! When testing it changes to a "-", and nothing else happens, so it looks it's malfunctioning.

Clicking the title itself is a broader area to click, less effort to hit the right spot. But as long as the "+" is there is should of course do something for you.

I never click the + but I just tried and it just turned into a - and nothing else.

The + is (was) a nice feature because it opens a preview screen where you can read the OP, and see if it interests you or not vs. having to jump to a new page.

Ahh...now I remember, it was introduced some time ago, 2-3 years back? Actually tested it then, but it didn't do much for me personally for my style of using the forum, but I can understand it can be valued.

I like the feature. For long threads I usually read the OP using this feature and then if it doesn't totally suck jump to closer to the end of the thread.

the first few responses set the true tone of the thread. that's why it's so important to constantly refresh subforum lobbies.

glad im not the only one....just found this thread while seeking help for this problem. i thought i had screwed up my browser somehow after a recent update. started happening for me sometime in the last week.

anyway, fix and/or bring this back asap! great feature. saves huge amounts of time when i dont want to open an entire thread, but rather just read the OP first and figure out if i want to post and/or read further.
