how many head up threads are created each day? if not many, why not just label them as such. if it says head up in the title i don't see why it should be confusing.

mat if you go to the high stakes PLO forum you can see that on the 1st page alone 40% of the posts are about heads up. There are fewer on the small stakes PLO forum...Anyway, i guess its your site and you call the shots.... but i wish youd reconsider. in 13 hours I have got 35 names of people who are interested, so there is a demand for it.

@ Matt - I agree with you in that you are saying that 'if it says HU in the title it shouldn't be confusing' but i think it would be a real shame if a HU forum doesn't get created, and here are my reasons why

PLO has grown massively over the past few years, and i honestly think the next game to grow is HU PLO. There is so many dynamics to it, so many different parts to it, that make it unique to any other game.

I also think that HU PLO is hugely different than 6-max PLO. Starting hands don't matter as much. Things like 3-betting and 4-betting pre/floating/ and other things are much more common in HU than they are in 6-max.

All of these things lead me to believe that a HU forum would be just as, if not more, popular than a general SSPLO thread.

I could go on Matt, but i honestly don't want to waste your time with more reasons, as im sure your a busy chap!
If your worried possibly by the chance that you will have to do more work creating it, don't because there are a ton of people who(me included) would be more than happy to do the work for you.

it really is up to the mods of the plo forums. thus far the support from them doesn't quite seem there. that doesn't mean it won't happen in the future, but the best way to convince us is to start labeling the HU threads.
