Yes, it appears to be quite new I'm getting ads that are about local things, in local language. I might have got them before to some extent, not sure, but now they seem to dominate. Bobo, has there been any strategy change here? It may be a business secret, so you have the right to remain silent

I have nothing to do with, and know nothing about, our network ads, sorry. But geotargeted ads are nothing new, much like ads targeted based on recent browsing habits. I, like many others, constantly see ads for things I've just been researching.

Oh, hell no - we'd have some pretty ugly ads if I was in charge of that.

I handle close to half of 2+2 advertising overall, but that's inclusive of threads, commercial forums, etc., so probably much less than half of the banners you see. Many of the poker-related banners you see have been sold through me, but pretty much none of the non-poker ones.

That said, I always try to answer what I can about advertising - even stuff that hasn't gone through me, I can shed at least some light on.
