In the following thread, I made a serious post pointing out the question in the title and the question in the body of the post weren't the same and asking which question they really wanted answered. My post was deleted and I don't understand why.

It was not sarcastic and the post before mine, which I thought sarcastic, has been left up.

Couldn't spot the discrepance myself between title and body. Do you have a copy of your post, or otherwise enlighten me?

Yeah, it's a pretty small difference, and hardly seems worthy of posting about, let alone posting twice. But as suggested, the best way to find out would be to PM the mod, or post in the LCP moderation thread.

How was I to know it was Rapini?

The title of the guy's post seemed to ask how you maintain a player base while the body asked how to fill the room. Two different questions in my opinion.

Cmon, you post in LCP enough to know that if a mod action was taken, it was 70% Rapini, 25% me, and 5% Bobo/Mat. I'm making these numbers up, but it's almost always Rapini or me, and you can send a PM to 2 people, so do that. Also, not re-posting a deleted post is like a common sense universal rule that shouldn't need to be explicitly stated - if it was deleted, there must have been a reason. And it's not like you were infracted/banned for it, so why whine about it over here? Chill out.

Ok. But we have a Moderation Discussion thread (it's stickied) that should be used if you don't want to PM a mod, and either/both should be done before coming to ATF. Just letting you know the SOP (not just for LCP but all forums - start locally and work outward from there).

I understand, but if the mod you PM wasn't the one, we can forward it to the one who did (we can see who it was). Basically, PMing a mod (even the wrong one) is never a wrong course of action.
