I gotta question here. Does the view count include robot views, like google's search engine indexing spyders?

The reason I ask is this: I have my dog blog, Flower, Cinnamon Stick, and Sabo. TYVM @2+2 for hosting me !!!1! I started the blog the day I rescued Sabo (2014-2-25, pix below). Now, 1221 days later I have 69024 views. Prolly ~5k of those views are me composing new posts. That makes an average of ~50/day non-me views.

By contrast, imgur.com reports 636 image views (I assume non-cached) of the above pix, which is inline as part of post #10 of my blog. That's an average of ~0.5/day.

And, as long as I'm asking Qs... how does view count interact with pagination? If I read through my whole 461 post blog thread, does that (a) count as 1 view regardless , (b) count as 24 views at 20 posts/page, (c) count as 5 views at 100 posts/page?

And my general question is this: Sure I'm getting ~50 views/day... but does that really mean anyone else besides me, my sister, and a buncha robots are actually viewing my blog?

I'd suggest trying the Computer Technical Help and/or Programming forums here. Your questions don't exactly fit either one, but I think you're more likely to find people who know the answers there.

You also might want to Google that and see if someone has asked those questions previously elsewhere, and/or if there's a more technical forum (perhaps vBulletin itself) where people will have the answers.

My completely uninformed answer would be that I'd find it surprising that there were that many daily robot/spider views of individual 2+2 threads.

View count goes up every time showthread.php is called, so (c) count as 5 views at 100 posts/page.

i don't like 100ppp but i tried it out again today to see if i still didn't like it and i switched back to default pretty quickly because i really don't like 100ppp and now every time i click a "go to first new post" vertical arrow or the "go to last post" horizontal arrow it sends me to a way wrong page, the page that would be the correct page if i were on 100ppp even though i'm not, and switching back and forth between ppp settings changes nothing, it appears stuck on 100ppp only when navigating those link buttons. and the go to last page button is ****ed now too

help me please i don't like 100ppp and all my bookmarks are ruined
