Am I going to like the forum upgrade?

I'd assumed that the upgrade was for some internal workings but read in a thread that 2p2 is one of the last forums using the good version of vB. Now I'm worried about having an entirely new environment to become accustomed to. Is that true/will it be better/easier? IOW, will I like it?
