I've found thekid to be completely disingenuous in his posting. The smart thing to do for other posters is to simply disregard him completely. That's what I do with his trolling in the ootv Shameless thread.

As far as the Unchained modding he gets, he probably has a theoretical point.

He doesn't. I've locked/deleted other people's threads/posts for the same reasons I mentioned earlier.

A poster has an outrageous, trollish nature to everything he posts, has known gimmick accounts which are equally trollish, has been known to argue with himself on said gimmick accounts, and you continue to believe he is sincere?

He agreed with his sockpuppet, not argue with it.

Someone with sufficient intelligence to turn his computer on and connect to the internet argued that a moderator's treatment of him on this forum constituted "criminal harassment".

That was just one of his accounts. He has also argued with himself on others. It's called feeding your own troll, and it is a sign that you're not a very good troll.

Although we continue to talk about him and he continues to not be banned, so there's that.

What was the other one? I only remember the one that had the imam avatar.

Y'alls narrow-minded and cynical opinion of thekid actually is not at all improved by repeating it and agreeing with each other about it, it just seems that way. It is also a convenient opinion for people who have openly admitted to targeting people for humiliation for their own amusement. Acting like junior high students in a group does not make it add up to treating people like grown-ups when the time comes to do just that.

It is interesting how this insincerity rumor took on a life of it's own and spread, since it is mostly based in hubris. Even if thekid were somebody's gimmick, they have put some effort into humanizing it.

Even if the information available that thekid is most likely sincere is as obvious as it is or can be, it's really not about thekid, but what some people get out of having a punching bag around that swirms. Is it even funnier to keep piling on him after he has asked for it to stop?

Spank, you seem to be a decent guy, wanting to give the benefit of the doubt. If your emotional intelligence radar isn't giving you the sense that thekid is being disingenuous and up to little good, there's not much else to say.

So you are insinuating that thekid made the j.davis account and the tell was thekid criticizing and lambasting j davis and asking who's gimmick he is? Or was there something past the first page of that thread an intelligent and thoughtful person could use to understand your behavior here?

I'm not susceptible to sincerity trolling, which is what the rumor thekid is insincere is based upon. It's not even worth arguing about it as it is rather dumb. It is worth noting that sincerity trolling is evidence that thekid is being accused of trolling by people who are trolling. If thekids sincerity can be arbitrarily questioned, why not JJ shabados sincerity? Or yours? Or zikzaks? Or Mat's? See, it's pointless and uninformative.

No way thekid is first to point out j, davis is jefferson davis or is the first to wonder whose gimmick it is if it's not his gimmick.

There's also the tell. Putting a space before punctuation isn't a terribly uncommon typo, but two people sharing that exact same quirk, who also write in the exact same style, and who just happen to be arguing with each other in an obvious troll thread...

There may have been one or two other gimmicks around the same time frame with the same tell, but I can't remember for certain and I can't be bothered to go back and look.

The writing style and tone are almost unmistakable too.

Him calling it out as a gimmick is 100% though. Not only is he not clever enough to be first at that, he barely pays attention to anyone else's posts.

Truthfully, If I was a mod I would not take it upon myself to choose who bears the title of the bad politics/pu posters. I also would not disallow certain members from posting threads.

I'm sure that in real life, JJ would not mind having a Atheist, Black, Jewish, Christian, or Muslim neighbor. What I dont understand is why would I be chosen by JJ to bear the title of the bad politics thread, when in fact I haven't expressed negative views toward groups of peaceful people?

I feel I have the law on my side irt this topic, as well as the backing of many religious and non religious viewpoints. Here in the USA, as well as in Canada, its against to law to continuously harass someone, whether it be physical or verbal.

I dont think its nitpicking.
