Re: Year-long prop bet ($10 into $100,000)

fpp conversion rates.

how much cash should I count 414 fpp points as (stars), in case I place in tourneys using them?

You will bust 100 times with your $20 buy-ins before you realize you need a better BR management and that you need to learn the game of poker.

To make 100k/year playing poker you need to be playing 2/4 NL+ and know what you doing, and obviously you know very little to this point.

OP...prove everyone wrong and do it!

Oh and I'll give you 5 to 1 odds on turning $10 into $100 without busting if you're interested in a smaller bet to get started. I'll escrow however much you want to bet upfront just LMK.

Probably a huge level but if OP ends up actually setting this up, I'd be very wary of taking action vs him.

Chances are, no one is that dumb and it's much more likely that he's some hustler-reg who destroys other networks at MSNL and is just setting up the image of a completely delusional fish in order to get action at 25 to 1 on this bet, which would be a snap-bet for anyone on 2+2 who has money, given the information available about OP at this point.

I am pretty sure by now that OP has serious mental problems and is in need for psychiatric treatment. No one is just this stupid, it has to be serious mental disorder.

So if I understood correctly, you will only pay us money from your roll should you not reach 100k, meaning that if you ever bust your roll we won't get anything. This is a horrible prop bet for everyone involved.

Well, obviously I have considerable faith in myself, and spent a large amount of time reading books. I've played very little poker in terms of number of hands and can't use a HUD yet, can't table-ninja, etc etc.

Obviously if I were a ninja reg like you propose I would want to start the bet at $15 and not build up and then pay off bets from winnings. (As this would let you see my true potential.) Instead I would try to trick you into thinking I would surely go bust-o (which is possible.)

Finally, I expect you to have more information available to make the bet than at present - on both ends. How do I collect my money if I win if some random guy gives me odds that I pay off in advance and then disappear?

I've only played on three networks, enet where I deposied like 20 or 30 two or three times, and play-money zynga back when that was a thing, not a real dollar in that account.

obviously someone would have to know considerably more information about me. I would say it should be a person who also watches over the bets that we would mutually trust. (i.e. a regular here.)

Note also that I am providing screenshots as requested and have set up a twitter account for you to follow if you like:

https://twitter.com/#!/10to00k

We'll see how this goes...

Waaaaay wrong the EXACT opposite.

I do realize the venture is a bit quixotic - so in order not to lose more than my initial deposit of $12.50 or whatever I would ONLY PREPAY the bet from winnings. That way I don't have to pay out another $20,000 for losing. I would only take a bet of e.g. $2,000 of I've rolled up to $3,000. Then I would start back down at $1,000 again, same as if I had taken a nosedive, but now I hve your bet as well, so if I do succeed in rolling just that remaining $1000 back up to to $100k then I also get your $1000 (prepaid) times the odds you're giving me. (technically +1). So if you pay me 1.5 to one then at the end if I win the prop bet you give me back the $1000 and pay me $1500 (your end). However if I lose you just keep the thousand. But at the end of the bet I don't owe any more than what I've already prepaid.

Obviously someone *does* have to know all my real-world information, which I have to balance with the fact that I'm playing poker in a way that is highly exploitable - because it's the only way I know how at the moment. So I want to stay as anonymous as possible. I am definitely not this great winning reg on any network which should be apparent to anyone who will look.

I hope you are also putting odds on this and if I've rolled up a bit will still want to put your money where your mouth is

Quite untrue, you can make 100k/year playing .5/1nl+
