OK, I was just kidding about $10. Let me explain why this particular villain put me on tilt. Before all this started, I was playing HU against him and I had a $2,900 stack and he came in with $1,000.
We only played about 15 minutes but I lost two $300 pots against him. First hand, he min raise on BTN and I call with AJo and the flop comes Axx. I lead, he calls, I lead, he calls, I lead, he calls, and he shows me AQo on Axxxx board. Second hand, I min raise on BTN with KQo and he calls and the flop comes Kxx, he checks, I bet, he checks, I bet, he checks, I bet, and he shows me AKo on Kxxxx board.
That to me is like the biggest coolers in HU game especially because I was just waiting for all the other seats to fill up, and I didn't even wanna play HU poker.
So, yeah I got lucky not losing $2,000 playing HU in 15 minutes but I absolutely hate value town suicides. So it's not the money but the way he put me under that put me on tilt.
I may lose three +EV races in one session of 1000NL and that won't upset me nearly as much. Does that make sense? May be not to you...but that's just how I am.
