2nd level of $500 buy in tourney. (30 min levels) Blinds 50-100, no ante.

I doubled up first hand of tourney with AA >> QQ. Chipped down a bit after playing too aggro but still have a monster stack 35K. Opponent lost a big pot flush over flush 1st level and is down to about 50-60 bigs. We're like 55 min into tourney.

I open 3x from button with 9-6 of hearts. Called by big blind.

flop comes 2-3-4 with two hearts and a spade. He leads, I raise, he calls.

turn comes 8 of spades. He checks, I bet, he check raises me pretty big. I call with the flush and gutshot draws.

River is 7 of clubs. He ships it all in for 20 bigs the rest of his stack.

I know I'm beat here with only 9 high but I'm really curious what he played this way. I think he's got a bigger heart draw or he flopped a straight. I want to know how he plays. If I pay to see I still have like 300 bigs and he's sitting to my left all day. He's already back up to like 100 bigs if I fold here.

So I call and he has 9-5 of spades. He's out and I'm back up to 40K double the starting stack. Everyone at the table is shocked. Unfortunately I only go on to min cash, but it was a sick knock out.
