About 4 years ago turned my last $1 into around $2800 on stars in 20 hours or so playing LHE.
I had about $16 before the hand playing $1/$2LHE. On the river the pot was about $45 and I had missed everything and had $1 left. I bet the $1 on total air and was about to click exit table and the only player left in the hand folded! How someone didn't call for $1 I dont know.
I went on a sick heater at that table, left with a few hundred, moved up to $2/$4 LHE then $3/$6LHE, and finally 5/10 LHE. I finally stopped playing for the session when I was falling asleep at my laptop, I cashed out about $500 and then over the next few days gave back the other $2300 in true Riggerstars fashion.
Few years ago took 400 up to casino on a Friday got there about noon. About 6pm I was up to about 3300. Left and went to party with friends later that night in Ft Worth.
After partying at 2AM went back to casino bought into 2-5 game for 500 and by 8 AM was up another 3000. Left and went to a friends house slept for a bit and went back to the casino around 6PM and bought into the 5-10 game for 1K played until 10PM and was up around 3300. Left and meet my friends downtown again but this time I paid for my friends and I to party it up on my heater.
After partying went back to casino got their around 3AM bought into 2-5 game for 500 left Sunday afternoon around noon with a about 10Gs cash in my pocket after playing poker and partying all weekend.
Lots of fun, but was still early in my poker life and did not realize what kind of heater I was actually on. Still enjoyed every bit of it.
Also final tabled the double deuce on Full TIlt $22 ended up finishing 7 for $4500, was a great and disappointing day. Chopped up final 4 players for almost 20K each.
