Weirdest Poker Anamolies or Variance You've Experienced???

The purpose of this thread isn't to post a bunch of bad beat stories, but rather, to post weird anamolies or variance related occurrences you've witness or experienced.

I think compiling a bunch of these sorts of things can help give us added perspective. For instance,

I noticed the weirdest thing last week, that it had been a while since I hit a set with a pocket pair. So I started keeping track.

I got dealt 42 pocket pairs over the course of the week (live play at a B&M) and not once did I hit a set at any point during my hands (flop, turn, and or river).

I thought that was interesting and definitely an anamoly.

If we're staying true to the thread title (but possibly allowing at most one word to change), the weirdest thing that happened to me was during a chess tournament, two boards down from me, an old guy had a heart attack and keeled over and died.

But she had NEVER played poker and had no clue.
