Veganmav eats his food out of the trash: discuss
I thought that this was a bad enough beat to warrant its own thread
Quote:
I have moved up to 100/200 limit holdem.
I am running fine.
I haven't paid for food in almost a month.
Me and a buddy are having a contest to see if we can go 2 months without paying for food.
I have gotten 95% of my food out of the trash.
(the other 5% is mostly condiments that we already had in the house)

Re: Veganmav eats his food out of the trash: discuss
yes i am vegan, and i think there is a misconception about food from the trash.
i mainly go to stores, not resturauants
so i get unprepared food and prepare it myself
i had bagel with vegan margarine and jelly for breakfast, also waffles, i got pizza sauce, pizza dough and veggies so i made vegan pizza, i also made pasta salad, lots of fruit smoothies, um yeah etc. etc.
generally pretty good eating.

You sound like you're on pace to be an obese vegan.

Yea, i was gonna say there is really no misconception about food from the trash. It's from the trash. Trash is where people put things that are too big/gross to flush down toilets. End of story.

its more of a statement on how much waste there is in our society that one can live healthily just from other's waste.
also it leaves almost no "eco-footprint" or something. almost no negative impact on the environemnt, and almost no drain on resources.
also it saves money
and its lotsa fun!
