We can certainly understand your concerns, but please let me explain with a bit of a metaphor.

Watching the Olympics back in 2008, I was privileged to see Usain Bolt manage to run 100 metres in just 9.72 seconds. This was a staggering achievement, and the rightful product of years of training and hard work.

While I could never even come close to that mark, there are hundreds of athletes who have run the 100 metres in about 10 seconds, and thousands of athletes who have run it within 11 or 12 seconds.

Simply because you or I cannot run so quickly does not mean that such a feat is impossible.

Precisely the same thing happens at PokerStars. As stated, many of the players will use a piece of software to allow them to play using the keyboard rather than the mouse. This allows them to bet/fold much more quickly, particularly if they have their tables stacked and animations turned off. Additionally, the way the server prioritizes and queues actions, combined with Internet latencies, can make otherwise quick actions appear inhumanely quick to a third party observer.

Finally, with reactions this quick you would expect this player to make the odd mistake which is exactly what occurs. In both a hand history analysis, and personal observation of their play they are found to be differing strategies, even with ultra-premium starting hands (sometimes folding Aces and Kings), in the same situations.
