It seems strange though, he didn't go through any significant downswing before moving down stakes.

Maybe he had an accident that impacted him so he played for 'fun'? Or maybe the account transferred to another player....

the flip graph was more standard but coming together was perfect timing...

I agree if you're right, but from the slope of his graph it looks like he moved down stakes around the 20k mark. He didn't flatline until 50k when i presume he moved down further.
