Truly Awesome Sharkscope Graphs - Page 203 - Poker Beats Brags and Variance

Back when Stars and FTP were running in the US, i'd always take a look at sharkscope for everyone I played SnG's with. 9 handed SnG's would typically have a field of 6 losing players, 1 or 2 break even players, and 1 or 2 winners. Obviously Stars and FTP is making money from rake but from what I saw, very few of the players were really making any money.

From what I saw, anywhere from 2/3 to 3/4 of players are losing players.

I had a very complex strategy (lol) that consisted in not having losing sessions. I would play some HUST SNG that I was rolled for, if I lose, I would double the BI. Say I played first sng of $30, next would be $60, 120 etc, till win or busto. It was going fine and I was gonna deposit so I could cashout next day, so I was really happy, I had just made 18 and decided to celebrate. Got drunk, went to play some $5 just for fun, tilted busted whole roll lol

Talked to this guy during a game last night, he has super strict BRM and will still generally sat into tournaments. I expect this graph to keep going up.
