Just off the top of my head
Ray Reardon won at the age of 46, he is the oldest winner.
Joe Davis won his last WC at the age of 45, he won 15 in total, all of them consecutive. It probably would have been more, but they didn't play the WC for 5 years because of WW2, his last win was in 1946.
Walter Donaldson, Fred Davis, John Pulman, John Spencer and Horace Lindrum all won when they were over 40.
Fred and Joe Davis were brothers, between them they won the WC 23 times.
