1) Hypocrisy -
Douchebags calling other players river rats when they get their tptk beat by a legitimate 12 out nut draw only a few hands after they just won a pot with running gutshots. Same douchebag makes a fuss when his pocket Kings gets beat and criticizes another guy for playing Ace rag which was they same hand he himself played to make a wheel straight with the running gutshots.

2) Tip Comments -
From players: Ex A. Preflop raises make blinds fold and HU. Good sized pot gets chopped with matching broadway straights. Player on sidelines says "oh good, the dealer will get two tips". No, dealer doesn't get sh**. We lost money on that hand dumba**. Ex B. While already having one of my worst days of the year a new player upon arriving at the table witnesses my back to back sick losses. I follow that by scooping a pot that recovers maybe 20% of just what he just saw me lose and don't tip. "What? No tip?" B*te me. You tip what you want and I'll tip what I want.
From dealers: Ex A. Telling players about a big bonus hand that they dealt and they only got $X tip as if it should have been more. What they got was generous enough. Ex B. Talking bad about certain people that tip little or none while dealing. Dealers should only say thank you from any/all tips and say nothing from no tips and no discussion of tips should be said to or in front of players.

3) Chip Flipping Dipsh**s -
People that flip chips in with their fancy wrist maneuvers. Sometimes they splash the pot or roll across the table. They see other people, probably the majority, do this and think it's the cool way to play. That or some are just too lazy to lean or reach forward to put their bets in without a flip. Just place them in incremental stacks and stop trying to outcool the cool ones because what they think is cool is actually friggen gay.

4) Crowders -
Of course there's the disgustingly obese people that just take up way too much space and other seats get sqeezed together. Can't stand them simply because they're fat, but if that wasn't enough, their stink often matches their corpulency. Plus their arms are farther away from the table because their fat is in their own way so they are chip flippers too. Then there's the ones who are not particularly large, but still take up too much space. They rest their arms on the table with their elbows as far as they can go or their legs are under your chair. Since they are oblivious to their crowding ways, I have to pretend that I'm oblivious that they're in my space and bump their arms and step on their feet until they get it.

5) Table Eaters -
Never did like this but only recently did I begin to absolutely detest it. Not too long ago this slob was eating fish & chips with one hand while touching cards/chips with that same hand. His other hand is just idle. How the f*** can't he figure out one different hand for each purpose. Besides pausing the game when it's his turn to act while he's eating, he's watching a football game adding to his delays. Then there's a touchdown and he roars and food chunks fly out of his mouth, some on the table, one piece on the back of the hand of the guy next to him who doesn't notice. Table change request. Saw same guy eat and get grease on cards twice since with warnings from the dealer. I've never asked for a setup before but now I've discovered an actual reason for it.
Ahhahhhhaaaaa!!! Getiing old, are we?

Men are like wine, the good get better and the bad get worse during time.

That's not even the worst part. She's touching those chips, with all the gross stuff that builds up on them, and then eating with her hands all over that burger. That's pretty nasty IMO.

If I catch myself doing that I have to run over and hand sanitize the hell out of myself.

From yesterday's session:

Wannabe pros - horrible or even slightly bad players who insist on making strategy comments (usually terrible) after every hand they play. "I had pot odds, and I thought I had good fold equity because her range is really weak."

I want to just scream at them "I don't care, you're effing terrible. All of your strategy comments are terrible. You don't know what you're talking about, so shut and stop bothering me to justify your horrible plays and stop trying to educate the fish."

But I usually just say "sure, nice hand dude."

Im in the UK and i play 1/2 around 3 or 4 nights a week and
make on average £600 - £800 a week. It pays the bills
and i enjoy what i do.

Nothing that people do in a casino will make me tilt , sure the things
that some do will be slightly annoying but these guys pay my wages
at the end of the day.

P.S. It sure beats labouring on the nightshift 12 hours a night in the pissin'
rain and wind.

I know "eating at the table" has been mentioned about 100 times, but here's another one

Tournament this morning -
Young guy, cursing and steaming. Orders a big breakfast from the server. When breakfast comes, doesn't tip (even though the meal was comped), gets syrup all over the cards and when he donks out, he leaves the cart and the mostly uneaten breakfast.

Silver lining to the whole thing, I ended up with his stack. I thought about eating the breakfast too. Just kidding. Sorta.

Had a good laugh reading this thread

One of the things that tilts me most is when some noob who is not involved in a hand im playing calls time on me like after i think for 10 secs in a 400 bb pot.

Dont ****ing call time ever in a cash game, when you not involved in the hand.

Oh God, this is so bad...

Last night, I was playing NYE in my local B&M, the first table was fantastic, lively, people showing folded hands (woo!) and it was very juicy. Had a blast. Table eventually broke after midnight and had to merge with another.

Squeezed in between a blob and a drunk Irish dude. Drunk Irish dude had to be yelled at by the dealer, to put his blinds in, every time, him and the blob next to me reeked of beer and vomit. I just wanted to die. Played 2 hands and quit, even though the drunks were throwing their money away.

But another thing that was tilting, was on the first table, some super aggro dude (he's just an aggressive person in general) played and lost about 150BB's within 2 hours, making a stupid move; River gave the board a gutshot straight 5-7-8-9-X, and 2 villain's moved all in for their remainder, so obviously having the 6 in their hands. Super aggro dude calls the all-in for his remaining 30BB's, and the first 2 guys split it with their 6's.

Super aggro dude asks everyone "Didn't I raise pre? Didn't I? Then didn't I bet strong on the flop? Didn't I? Man, poker, is ****ed, poker is a ****ed game, that is BAD poker (looking at the all-in dudes)." And he looked like he was ready to knock them both out.

Just nodded and looked down at my chips.

WHAT. THE. ****?

I seriously hate it when someone bugs me for 5 hours in my game only to solicitate money after losing their last frickin dollar at the casino. The worst part is they don't need the money, they just want to gamble more. It literally happened to me 4 or 5 times altogether.
Wtf? Do you mean they ask you for money, or to change some chips?

This has happened twice recently. An extremely bad player at the table compliments a huge fish saying "he's a good player" when he really sucks hard. I know it doesn't matter in the end, just tilts me that someone can be this stupid.

-This one happens all the time. When fish grab chips like they are going to call, when they are super weak. Just fold your ****ing cards idiot stop holding up the game.

-When fish slowplay when they shouldn't. I know this is +EV for me especially if I don't try to bluff them, but damn I just find it hilarious how players can really have no clue how to make money at this game. Tilts me when they win and don't deserve it.

-When I get coolered by a fish. Only way they can make money off me - ONLY WAY.

God this **** tilts me.

I've never seen any arrogant players do this though - just massive fish who play poker every other Friday night.

Sorry for multi posting here but I HAVE to +1 this omg tilts me so bad. So ****ing amateur and it takes me forever to figure out how much they have. Occasionally you will see the fish with stacks of 5 too.

Usually takes these losers forever to put their bets in the bet too

What do you mean by stacks of 10? What is the ideal stacking method?

20. Most common denomination is 5$ chips so it makes nice 100$ stacks. Very usefull when you have a lot of cash in front of you...

That's one of the things that tilts me the most in live play : noobs stacking their chips... like noobs. Random stacks with all sort of chips in it. Big denomination chips hid behind. The same noobs will usually hide their stack with their arms when involved in a hand and make their cards invisible, so you never know if they're still in or not.

I stack into 20s when have a lot of chips in tournaments. But when I have like 23 chips I'll much rather make 2 10 chip stacks and put 3 chips on top of them.

Anyway, people stack their chips in all sorts of tilting ways. Like they'll have 4 columns of 4 chip types regardless of how many there are. Or put all of them in one big shuffled stack and then spend a minute every time to dig out the chips they want.

was at mtl this weekend played some 1/2, check raised all in on turn with a flush draw and got called with bottom pair bottom kicker. board wasw Ad6d4c he called with 6c3s he had about 40$ invested into the pot and it was about 140 more to call. he ended up calling then told me how bad of a play it was on his part and got lucky and all that ****. ended up tipping the dealer 10$ after that hand.

people who announce your play and try to read your hand and are completely wrong.

when you 3bet pre to try and isolate the fish and get 5 callers behind.

slurp on their drink at the table.

show only one card when they win a hand.
