Hello,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

Unfortunately for you (and thankfully for me), Pokerstars have to pay an extensive support team to answer all e-mails we receive, however pointless they may be.

They are normally complaints about the doomswitch which we obviously deny all knowledge of with our standard "there is no doomswitch" lie. Some are desperate requests for money to be returned because some fool is playing outside his means and wont be able to pay his mortgage. Sometimes they warn us that they are suicidal but as far as we're concerned they can get on with it if they have no money. We occasionally get an e-mail that makes us smile but it gets boring after the first dozen.

Another large overhead that has to be paid is for our Fraud Investigation Team to investigate every allegation of cheating, however spurious, which are usually based on frustration at a players inadequacies rather than any supporting evidence.

We also had to deal with thousands of people transferring 1c to some Canadian dude who really didnt need the money and wasnt as pleased as you might think.

If you all just played poker and left us alone we could save some money, though these savings would obviously not be passed on to you.

I hope this helps but if we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again at any time (although frankly we'd rather you didn't).

Regards,

PokerStars Support Team

Subject: MTT payout structure

Could you tell me the payout structure for a MTT with 3200 entrants?

I couldn’t find the published percentages on the web page (just the disclaimer that the payout structures are subject to change).

By the way, your customer support kicks ass (I don’t care how many times I’ve ran KK into AA this month or the fact that my doomswitch was turned on in October after a hellacious 7 month heater).

Just in a display of my continued support of Pokerstars, I opened up Full Tilt, fired up a $26 MTT and promptly bombed out where AA< J9o. After which I berated Howard Lederer and their sh*tty, rigged site in the chat and told him he could suck my c*ck. I would never display such rude behavior on a fine site like Pokerstars. (any chance the boomswitch goes back on? )

Seriously tho, could I get the payout structure for the MTT?

Thanks,

Ed

Are you saying you would let Howard Lederer, the Professor, suck your **** even though you don't want him to? I'd that what you're saying? It sounds like that's what you're saying.

Hello xxxxx,

Thank you for your email, for your support of PokerStars, and for your interest in our prize structures here at PokerStars.

Please note that payout structures vary depending on many things, including tournament type, game type, buy-in and blind-structure (to name but a few factors). If you would like me to confirm the payout structure of a specific tournament, please let me know the tournament name or ID# and I will gladly assist.

With regards to your comments about the "doomswitch" (which is obviously a myth), unfortunately, the email address 'xxxxx.xxxxx@xxxxxx.com' is not registered to any PokerStars accounts, so we cannot identify your User ID in order to properly respond.

You can check which email address is registered to your account by logging into PokerStars, and from the main Lobby screen, selecting:

'Account -> Change Account... -> Change Email Address...'

Your registered email address will be displayed there. If you need to update your email address, you can do it there also. If you write to us from your registered email address, we can have a more detailed discussion over your concerns, the hands you have been dealt, and discuss at length the integrity of our games and services.

Thank you for choosing PokerStars, and please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Kind regards,

Brett

Hello Mike,

Thank you for your email.

I understand how we all can get intrigued by such issues, however, please
remember that we are talking about hypothetical forces and objects, leading
me to believe that there is no guaranteed objective answer. I would suggest
that you, and your fellow marine have a look at what the wonderful world
wide web has to offer in terms of different theories.

I have attached a link to a forum as a start:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...3195452AA4K2p1

I truly hope that you find a satisfying answer to this issue, as it is
indeed a puzzling one.

If I can be of any further assistance, especially with any PokerStars
related query, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Best regards,

Vanja T
