I used to play heads up plo hyper sit and goes under the screename "ASabir" on pokerstars. Then the Australia poker ban happened which was a blessing in disguise as now I play on the glorious site that is ignition (really soft) and play plo 200, here is the graph of the last year ive played on the site.

I'm seeing two ~80 buyin downswings if I'm reading this right, that must have been rough. Nice job. I didn't realize 80 buyin downswings were a thing even an PLO.

beautiful graph op, crushing despite being 30-50bb under for 300k hands

omaha downswings are so heartbreaking, it says a lot about someones character if they grind plo cash

The majority is 6 max, I would say 5-10 percent heads up just to get the games running.

How long did it take you to climb the stakes up to 1/2? What was the process like to get there? I would like to be at 200 before 2020, I’m at PLO25 rn

Hey sorry for the late reply I didnt realise, for me I played heads up $60-100 hyper sit n gos on pokerstars before the poker ban in australia. Then I had to play on ignition and started playing heads up sit n gos there however I barely got any action on the site. Plo 6max had a lot of traffic so I basically jumped in to plo 200 and became a winner instantly with the site being so soft.

I wouldnt know I dont play tourneys, judging from the tourney lobbies there seems to be a decent amount of touneys 10-50 dollar buy ins running with the occasionaly big buyins 100-300. I assume they're pretty soft.

Do you have trouble seeing enough volume because the action moves so much slower than other sites?

how do you study PLO personally, monker, training vids, etc?

Yeah although I hate the software, with the animations being so slow compared to other sites I still the majority of the time can play 4 tables and get around 1-2k hands a day which for me is sufficient as I dont like to get burnt out a lot while playing.
As for studying Ive never studied the game from the theoritical point of view, never had monker or signed up to a training site. The best way to learn for me is to play although I do intend to use monker when I move up to plo500 after I finish my degree this year. I have watched most of jnandez videos on youtube and looking at his plays did help a bit, main take away from watching him was to play tighter preflop in plo which was a big leak for me lol.
