Do you know what low variance is? When you are down to pocket change and giving BJs in the McDonald's parking lot so you can scrape together a buy-in, you don't want to be shoving your bottom 4 card straight on a flush board that started out 6-handed.

That's almost as bad as taking all your money to roulette and betting it on purple

And much like betting purple in roulette, your hand in this spot is never winning.

Here is a hint. Next time you are down to selling plasma and working on your knees to get that buy-in, only shove w the near nuts or better. And snap fold all high variance spots. You have a straight on a flush board...fold. you have AA and four villains see the flop and someone shoves...fold. You have two pair when flush hits on river a V shoves into you...fold.

To those of you making it sound like I had to suck **** in the parking lot, lol? It was my last buy in before I have access to more funds (pay, transfers, etc). I'm a whale. Company transfers take a few days to process.

the most tilting thing for me is i read title and actually thought this thread might be worthy of my time. you owe me 10 minutes of time, i expect payment though i understand it could take a few days to process. the way that my bank account is set up, the thing is, i have a checking and a savings... but all my money is in my savings... so i gotta switch it to my checking, but it's gonna take 3 days to go through.
