Just spent the last 2-3hrs reading through this entire thread. AMAZING run Cappie, even more so cause it seems you're still at it haha. Out of curiousity, starting at the 70k win I spose, have ya been able to live well off of your winnings etc or do you hold a regular job/spew poker moneys in the periods in between winnings?

I have never cared to build a bankroll. I was a PhD student (now finished) which is a regular job in the Netherlands, so I have never been dependant of my poker earnings. The first time (70k), I used almost all my winnings for my wedding / honeymoon. My second major score two months thereafter (30k), was almost entirely donated back to the community by playing almost all Master Classics of Poker events in Amsterdam, where I didn't cash anything. After that, I had a few nice scores which I used for life expenses and to feed my HU PLO addiction.

Over the last year, I have been running pretty bad. On top of that, I had some issues with Dutch IRS because I hadn't paid my taxes the right way, resulting in a €10K debt which I had to pay before spetember of this year. You can imagine how extremely happy I am with my last score, which covers the whole debt and leaves enough behind for paying taxes over this score and then some
