Whats going on BB&V. First things first, I play very low stakes so this story will only be interesting/funny to guys that play 25nl or lower. Now that we got that out of the way I can begin.

October 2016

It was a standard night, I was cleaning my room before going to the gym. I go on youtube to find something I can listen to. In my recommendations I see "Mr Green13 Dan Colman Podcast". Being a big fan of the pod, of course I choose to listen to that. The pod took off in a speed I've never seen before. The qualities these two guys share were incredibly similar. It's obvious these guys were "cut from the same cloth". Dan spoke about his ups and downs early in his career which for some reason motivated the hell out of me to get better and run up a big bankroll. Having 1500, my main game was $7-$15 SNGs (~$10 avg bi). Feeling fired up and ready to go I logged into my poker account. I decided to fire one bullet at $2/$4 full ring. This was BY FAR the highest ive ever played. 3 guys had over $1k, ive only seen stacks that big when I tune into fees' or wcg's stream. fast forward a couple of orbits im sitting with ~$480. What happens next I will never forget. Utg opens to 10, I flat with kk in middle position. Folds to the small blind, he 3 bets to $32. Utg flats. Trying to pick up 7 regular buy ins, I jam. Small blind calls, utg folds. Of course he shows me the coconuts. The pot is $960. Ive never played for a pot 1/10th the size of that. (Partly because I mainly play sngs but every once in a while ill play 10nl or 25 nl). My heart is pounding hard, not fast but harder than ever. It took me back to my boxing days. When I was new to sparring, my heart would pound hard everytime id get in the ring. The board bricks out and im sent to the showers. After the hand I log out, I felt so emotionless. I didn't feel tilted, sad or anything for that matter. It's really hard to explain. In a way, it was a feeling ive never felt before but then again I felt nothing. At that moment I didn't care what anybody thought of me or if kaepernick was going to do well in his first game back. Every little problem seemed to not matter. I felt dead inside. I went to the gym right after, took 3 scoops of pre workout when I normally take 1. Went out for a jog and ended up laying down on the grass staring at the sky at 2am. I finally understood what dan was talking about. Tomorrow im going to play the $444 buy in 100k Guaranteed on ignition. If I take it down, thats cool. if I go broke, well thats cool too.
