I was in the BB with AKo. Button raised as most do and he's done on 55% of his buttons. I 3bet and he repops with the 4ball. He 4bets fairly wide (9%) and steals from button very wide (55%), so I figured I'm at a coin flip worst case scenario, so I ship it. He tanked for a while and then calls. He ended up having AKo, as well. So I'm thinking we chop and site gets their rake, whatevs. I can't remember the flop exactly, but it had two spades. He had the ace of spades and caught runner runner spades.

I wasn't too heated because I've seen crazier sh*t on Ignition. Still came up at the end of my session. I just wanted to share this with you guys. Reminds me of the live $1,000,000 buyin AA vs AA and one of them caught the flush.

Have a good day, all.

Hi I've played poker for a couple years now, have seen a number of cool things take place. I'll tell you about the most memorable hand I've played in.

So, I was dealt pocket 6's. A third 6 landed on the flop, along with a 2 and a Queen. A few bets are placed, and then one dude raises by going all-in. I call. There's another guy left in the hand who has his cards covered. I don't see him. I turn up my cards revealing my set of 6's. The guy on my left turns up his cards to reveal a set of 2's and lays them down. I double facepalm myself, realizing I just made a horrible blunder. The turn is the 2 of diamonds. This makes a flush for the guy still in the hand but gives me a full house, and thus I win the hand. My horrible blunder ironically ended up saving me a ton of money. The dude on my left obviously would have called had I not shown my cards, and he would have won with quads.

Interesting, right? What is your most memorable poker hand?

Wow! How pissed was that guy that you showed your set of 6's which cost him a huge pot? I can only imagine.

Well, in my very early days of online poker I played on Carbon a little bit (now I know better). I raised pre with 77 and the big blind calls. Flop comes out 776. I was like "damn I have the nuts!" and was wondering if I should slow play it. Dude didn't give me a choice as he donked into the pot. I just tanked a bit and then called hoping he would barrel the turn as well. Turn was a 6. He bet pot and I tanked again, then called. River was x (didn't care enough to remember what it was). He ships he stack and obviously I snap call with the nuts. He turned over 66. I was like WOW, quads over quads. Whole table got some kind of bad beat bonus for it.

My second most memorable moment was in a home game. Just a bunch of people I served in the military with playing some $1/$2. Everyone was playing insanely loose, so I was raising all kinds of garbage. Anyways, I raised 34s (diamonds). Big blind called. Flop was A25 with both the A and the 5 being diamonds. So I had the nuts and a flush draw to go with it. He checks and I bet. He raised me on the flop and I flat out tell him since it's a friendly game "dude, I have the nuts. Not only do I have the nuts, but they're both diamonds." and I put him allin. To my surprise, he calls. So I knew he was on a set hoping to suck out. And I was right. He had 22. Turn was a blank and the river was the final 2 in the deck giving him quads. He was hooting and hollering with joy and I was like "damn, I can't believe I lost this hand". Then another player told me "Nick.....dude, you have a straight flush!" I looked again and couldn't believe it. That 2 of diamonds gave me the straight flush. I lol'd.

Didn't read but don't listen to the new guy, OP. Just because he bumped a meaningless year-and-a-half old thread that nobody could ever care about in the slightest so that he could say something vacuous and mean spirited for no apparent reason doesn't mean nobody cares about your loss. Although nobody actually does care. You don't even care anymore. Awesome bump though, I can't believe I missed this thread the first time around.

This thread hadn't been touched in fifteen ****ing months for good reason. Also, my most memorable hand I've played in is still something I'll tell you about.
