"Can I still register for the $1k?" he asks after he gets up. "Hmm not sure, but we got a $10k here", the brush answers. Miikka says "Hmmm" and collects his money.

Sorry to ruin it but I was just jokingly considering playing the highroller, no way I'm going there after 6 hours of night sleep and on massive life tilt.

I'd have had over average with 15 left, and with 15 left there's over 3M€ left in the prize pool to be divided between the remaining players. So if we assume I'd have had no skill edge over the remaining field and just the exact average, my stack would've been worth 200k€ (I know this isn't exactly how ICM works but you get the idea). There are 1M and 690k stacks in the ft with EIGHT left and the two chipleaders are two of the biggest droolers I have seen in a long time.

So yeah I'd say that was a 200k bad beat... lol donkaments. I'll continue writing when I get over this life tilt. I'm pretty tiltless these days (thanks Tommy Angelo, thanks meditation!) but it appears I'm not entirely immune yet.

No need for a life tilt, and you know it. You're already extremely fortunate in life and you do not need those €200k+. After your docuemented ride, you still got food, shelter and people close to you who loves you - that alone is top 1% luckboxing worldwide... Now get back to writing!

Wow, this is so sick. I read the entire thread in one go and can't stop thinking about it. I can't zone out. I'm in Barcelona now and just did an interview with a player but was just thinking about your story all the time and couldn't concentrate on any of my questions or his answers. Was just thinking about degening it up and stuff.

I actually think I was in the hotel lobby in Warsaw that night. I was there as a reporter for the Unibet Open and I was in the playerslounge upstairs with the tablefooty thing. Was it the hotel the tournament was played in that you were staying in as well? I remember a big fuzz downstairs with people screaming one night. Maybe something totally different, could be.

Can't wait for coming parts, keep it up.

Gotta get in here too. Time goes by so fast while reading your stories, it's awesome.
Sorry to hear about the bad beat. I hope you can turn your tilt into lust for writing asap

Ah, that sucks... You played very excellent. I have a feeling you would have been in the top 3 if you didn't get sucked out on.

Yeah it was the same hotel where the casino was downstairs, can't remember the name... but I thought it was really posh, one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

We came in really late at night / early in the morning, I think the lobby was basically empty so I don't think the screams had anything to do with our incident. Could be wrong though.

It was the Hyatt Regency, indeed a very nice hotel. With the long stairs down in like a spiral to Casinos Poland - with the very low ceiling. We weren't in the lobby itself but on the 2nd floor but probably a different night. The guy showing his piercing was probably Michal Wisniewski, the guy with the red hair. Heard he showed some people it in a press conference once as wel.

If i cud ask chuck btw how would the standard of the EPT tourney compare to online? If there was a tourney of equivalent standard online what would it be? Very ul- all the MTTers who are reading this thread feel ur ICM pain
