Im the same age and just makes me think about how boring my poker adventure has been, just been me and my computer, and when its been crazy there has been a bottle of red wine a blackjack table and a donk on tilt, and the occansional smashed laptop. Makes me wanna travel the world.

Sorry you lost you money and all, but still I'd appreciate it if you kept it out of the thread. Reason being that for someone who doesn't understand poker/staking it might not be obvious you were referring to that guy and not me as you didn't point it out in any way.

Regarding vol 8, in case anyone is wondering I got mods to edit the names of J and Z out as per their request. I should be more careful with that stuff. I'm gonna start writing vol. 9 now.

I started reading and couldn't stop! Have any of the articles you did for the magazine been translated? Or even the magazine itself? They could sell it online (using something like zinio with few extra costs - I'd buy it!

Amazing story and your writing is excellent! Cant wait for next installment!!

It sucks that I've fallen off with Pokerisivut these days and I don't have access to my old blog anymore. I asked it to be hidden when my relatives found out about it and didn't want them to read it all, and it was moved to the mod section. I used to have modding rights but they pretty much hate me these days and I've had them removed, so I can't check these details from there anymore.
Did the guy actually show his quads? And you showed the aces? That story sounds a lot like a hustle where you chip dump with someone else's action and split the mark's money.

A lot of the other stories are pretty questionable also. They're well written and I enjoy reading them but I have a difficult time believing most of them. The numbers seem grossly exaggerated.

Everything pre 2009 seems like pure degerancy and hustling. Working at a poker magazine pays crap (like $50/article, I've done it). There's a lot of talk about playing big and nothing to back it up. All the major tournaments you were supposed to play were conveniently missed and every story ends in all the money you have being lost at roulette.

Also lol @ never showing proof of your results. Awful convenient.

Did I just get leveled? Or did you get ideas from Girah?

The random person calling out a scam is pretty interesting also.

I think that there is a lot more to this story.

Please remove any indications to my online forum alias, even the initials, from the Vegas bit. Both blogspot and 2+2. I checked the storyline and it's just not accurate, if you're making this stuff up please use fictional characters.

30% of the Vegas bit kind of happened, but not as described.

What's happening noooooooooooooo don't tell me we've been leveled. Chuck was my new hero. This could be as as tramatic as finding out there was no santa. I just can't believe it. Also he's admitted to lying in the past if I remember correctly. Which should lend to his credibility.

We probably would have vol. 9 right now if you didn't go all internet P.I. in here.
