It sucks that I've fallen off with Pokerisivut these days and I don't have access to my old blog anymore. I asked it to be hidden when my relatives found out about it and didn't want them to read it all, and it was moved to the mod section. I used to have modding rights but they pretty much hate me these days and I've had them removed, so I can't check these details from there anymore.
Did the guy actually show his quads? And you showed the aces? That story sounds a lot like a hustle where you chip dump with someone else's action and split the mark's money.
A lot of the other stories are pretty questionable also. They're well written and I enjoy reading them but I have a difficult time believing most of them. The numbers seem grossly exaggerated.
Everything pre 2009 seems like pure degerancy and hustling. Working at a poker magazine pays crap (like $50/article, I've done it). There's a lot of talk about playing big and nothing to back it up. All the major tournaments you were supposed to play were conveniently missed and every story ends in all the money you have being lost at roulette.
Also lol @ never showing proof of your results. Awful convenient.
Did I just get leveled? Or did you get ideas from Girah?
The random person calling out a scam is pretty interesting also.
I think that there is a lot more to this story.
