Uhhhh.....can you say downswing?
These are the defining hands of my last 3 sessions.
Session 1 (2/5, $500 max):
Hand 1: Make the hero call with AK high when V jams turn. V shows K8, no pair, no flush draw - 8 on the river
Hand 2: Very next hand (after I rebuy to 500 of course). I 3 bet to 115 with KK, same villain jams for my stack. I call. V shows J8o. Q9x, x, T
Session 2 (1/2, 400 max):
Hand 1: KK, I 3 bet to 40. 2 callers. KT9 flop. GII for V's 140 on the flop. He shows JQo and wins.
Hand 2: I have QJss, call a CO raise to 8 OTB. QJ8 flop. V leads, I raise. brick turn. He checks, I bet big, he jams, I call. He shows KK, 8 on the river
Session 3 (1/2, 200 max):
Hand 1: I raise to 10 with KK, 3 callers. Kx5c9c flop. I check, checks through. Turn 5. I bet small. 1 caller. River 6c. I bet, he raises, I jam. He calls and shows 78cc.
Hand 2: All in preflop with KK vs. J9dd. JJx flop. The rest is history.
Hand 3: I 3 bet to ~30 with AQ against same villain as last hand. He jams for 200. As I am in the tank I start the table talk. I get him to voluntarily show me a J. I figure at worst its a flip and I have some money invested but also good chance I have him crushed. I call. He shows AJo. AJx flop. It holds.
Pretty frustrating when you get these good of games in consecutive sessions and have ~$1700 in losses
