Live 2/5. Villain is a drunk fish who's given most of his stack away and is sitting on $160.

Hero raises JJ on cutoff to $25. SB calls, V calls in BB, one other caller.

Flop 8c6c3d. Villain instashoves like $135. Hero calls. Villain shows 9c7c.
Turn 3h.
River 3c.
Villain sees his flush and slams the table and yells "yeah pass those chips over here baby!"
I quietly muck my hand. Then instantly realize after I do that I mucked my boat to his flush.

About an orbit later, I raise A9dd to $25 on button and villain limp called. Flop Qd9x4d (I have middle pair plus NFD). Villain leads $70. I decided to play for stacks and raise/gii for $365, and double up villain again with his Q6o. Villain wildly celebrates again. I proceed to tilt hard that night, but luckily ended up a couple hundred ahead despite making some horribly bad plays that cost a lot. And I was also the one to felt villain for a few hundred.

So you're saying villain is a prostitute.

It happens. A few months ago I made a call with a small flush OTR, bigger pot than yours, 5h2h in the BB or smth like that, 3 on the board. The problem was that I narrowed his range to a flush or BS. I see two reds and instamuck. A few seconds later I realized that the K was a diamond and he decided to ridiculously overplay his two pair. Oh well. In my defense I had like an 11h jetlag at that time.

Been there done that. About 6 callers pre. I was in big blind with something like 69o. I check. No bets after the flop until river. Board was something like 6TKQA. I just muck my hand. Someone won with pocket 3s. In my defense I was 12 Coronas in.

That's like 6 cheeseburgers I'll never see again.

I can honestly say ive never done this before. the key is at every showdown i ask to myself "what do i lose to?" on average i make hundreds in free money over the course of a year by doing this.

For hands I raise in and call on the river and of the board looks like a chop I'll toss my cards face up and have gotten three or four mucks, twice the dealer announce to the villian that if you had this card itll been a split pot with the pair or overcard out there . I also got a deep stack player to flip over his JQ vs QK by asking him what his kicker was, he was going to muck but when I asked the dealer said split pot. I've been playing +EV poker but a lot of my plays have been oddball. Example is my last hand I had $170 in the pot and about $140 to go and 66 on a AJ6Kx flush drawn /gutted board, I raise to $35 he re-raised to $95 I re-raised all in and asked soon as he looked at me I flopped over my set and he was surprised . He had $45 more to call out of his $2500 stack but said he wasn't going to call no more because he respected that. I actually did it because he was on a flush and straight draw and also the fact that I am quite unlucky . I take the pot there and a lot of people asked why I did that, was that I folded, etc. The villian wasnt really a villian he actually taught me a lot of stuff that day by observation. A later hand he stacked me on a re-raised and I called with AK and he had flopped a set of 8's. I learned from there is that on a dry board and your getting re-raised AK is pretty much a pair of 2's. That was a $100 lesson, thank God for that

I always show my hand at showdown even if it's just Q high

This. I'm often too drunk to read my hand anyway.

...and seriously wtf with all the mucking because you don't have to show? It's not like anyone at the table is even capable of understanding, let alone exploiting, any additional information you might be attempting to hide in the muck. Are you going to feel embarrassed? Just say you thought you flopped the straight instead of bottom pair and a gutshot. This works even better if you have no pair or gutshot.
