fwiw, have been running terrible at 1/2...but my redline is still in the positive and am hoping to rebound...probably lost like 9BI or so at 1/2NL, maybe 15-20% of total roll at time

I had $2500 BI and was playing at 50NL, planning to move up at $3000.
2 weeks and 25k hands later, i had $1000 - lost 20 BI at 50NL, moved up and down between 25NL and 50NL and tilted away another $500.

Then i cashed out and took a 6month break from poker.

And i had to buy a new mouse, a new keyboard and a new door for my wardrobe (ikea ftw).

iv blown countless 5k bankrolls do to tilt issues. have it about 95% under control now

Most buyins is probably about 10 at my normal game 200NL

I've blown 100% of my bankroll maybe 10-15 times though when between $5k and $20k on either 10/20+NL drunk or blackjack/casino games or horse racing or a mix.

Normally just lend money and grind it up again.

this thread reminds me of one of my most degen days ever. At that point I had a 25K roll, decided to take a shot at 25/50 and dropped 9k in one day. I quit for a week, contemplated quitting forever.

1st time I moved up to nl100 I was at about $2500. Went on an 11 BI downswing some at nl100, some back at nl50. Ended up around $1600-$1700, so about 1/3 of my roll. I think I could prevented most of the Nl50 losses though, with a few less of these near the end.

anyone who hasn't had a 15BI downswong isn't trying hard enough imo.

One night I came home drunk/semi-blacked out and was tilting at 50NL, lost four buy ins, moved up to 400NL to get it back, lost my buy in, went to 1kNL to lose the rest. Couple weeks after I won 4k in the 22 deepstacks. Fun times.

the 20+ BI downer is one night iirc and it triggered an epic breakeven week lol

I used to sell play chips and then go broke over and over again in the microstakes. I wouldn't accept that 3 buy-ins was too little have an edge on the donkeys.

Then I deposted $80 of my own money and went robusto bumhunting 25nl 6-max.

Ok you know what. Most of this thread is so weak. Most I ever lost in terms of money was $2600 at 200nl. I played a 24 hour session, got 200bb+ deep on every 5 or 6 tables. I was literally within $200 of even then i got stacked on each table in the span of 5 minutes. Some high pair outflopped my aces in a 4 bet pot. Pair+straight draw against set, and 3 combo draws (fd+gutshot straight draw) against 3 sets and i missed them all. So yeh, I was exhausted and super depressed for the rest of the day. My roll was just over $4k at the time.

HOWEVER, the most i've ever lost in terms of buy-ins just happened last night at plo100. Played a 12 hour session and lost $2400, just under 25% of my roll.

12.5 buyins at 100NL after my first 11 buyin day the day before (daggerrrrrrrrr) and it was probably about 17% of my roll (bankroll nit ldo)

I have had lots of -10 BI days, the most anti-ballin' day has to be around -15BI.
