Re: Most Baller set up

hey

i bought a hanns.g 28 inch monitor 3months ago and have been connecting it to my 2009 macbook pro, snow leopard OS, 10.6.8 and it has been working fine. Yesterday i unplugged the monitor as i was moving, and when i tried to connect the monitor again, my mac wouldn't recognize it anymore. (with mini display adaptar --> HDMI)

I tried connecting it to a vizio TV and it worked fine, so its not the cable/adapter?

I tried resetting PRAM and SMC

Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the monitor may have been damaged in the move. Have you tried using one of the other ports? I.e. dvi

Do you have other computers you could test the monitor with?

Did you use your adapter when you connected to the tv? If so I don't think it's the adaptor.

I have 2 monitors hooked to my laptop. 1 is to vga, other is HDMI. Havent had any problems. Don't know how you can hook 2 monitors if you dont have that HDMI slot in your laptop.
