How would you prefer i played it? Not much point in teling me that and not actually specifying why it was poorly played. Personally, i dont really see anything wrong with how either of us played it(with the excpetion of his donk bet otf). it was a sick setup and there was no way the money wasnt going in. Im lucky that the cards were in my favor.

i would love to have a conversation about how you would play the hand differently and why as well as giving me a chance to justify why i played it the way i did.

1. Im not from northern europe, im from New Zealand which is a small country just south of Australia.
2. I didnt raise on the flop for two reasons:
-I opened UTG so if i raise it pretty much turns my hand face up, i have an over pair, TPTK or i have a set.
-I had a read on this player that a donk bet on this flop is a sign of weak holdings w showdown value (ace high or a small pair like what he had) and by raising i am not getting full value from my strong hand aka im chasing away action. There is of course the flush draw on the board but relatively unconcerned by that bc of his donk bet, people dont often donk bet w a flush draw as they want to avoid getting raised and get priced out of the pot.

With these things in mind i made the conscious decision to call and hopefully let him think he has showdown value or let him improve w all of AJ type hands. Just because i had the best hand doesn't necessarily mean i need to bet, i called on the flop in order to maximize value from my hand on later streets.

Seems like way too much thought process for 10nl.

Back to the poker hand ..... its more likely that you thought you had the nuts and was going to throw the kitchen sink in no matter what happened
and unless you can prove it by showing us your a winning player with a large sample i suggest you hush up da noise box
