A little backround first: I am a 32 year old male from Finland and I have played poker online for about four years. I am a winning player at NL200 €. Last six months I have played almost everything between NL100-NL5000 €. Last month I started to clear MermaidPoker´s bonus-/rakeback –offer. I have also been a “active” reader on your forums.

I don’t know if the following information is relevant but I will write them down here anyway: last September I ran like God. I deposited 250 € to MermaidPoker (Boss Network) and the top figure I reached was about 10.000 €. I played almost everything between NL100-NL1000; I also took one “shortstack shot” to NL5000 with no success though. After loosing about 2.500 € I decided to withdrawl to calm my nervs. I withdrew about 1.000 € to my Visa (which I had originally deposited) and about 4.500 to Neteller (after first depositing a little amount with Neteller). I have previously used other Boss sites (PokerHeaven and Redbet).

A few days ago I got home from work and tried to start the client. This text appeared, when I tried to log in: “”Your account has been locked. Please contact support.” I did contact support and finally I was appointed a person, who knew something. The following conversation is gathered from our e-mails:

Hi xxxxx!

It has been brought to my attention, that your account has been suspended.

I have asked the fraud and security team for an explanation and will return when I hear from them.

Hi xxxxx!

You have been locked down for dumping funds. As you should know this is not allowed on Boss. There are heavy and lots of evidence to build it on.

I might be able to help you out though. If you admit it and write some kind of statement that you are sorry and wasnt aware of that its not allowed and it will never happend again, I might be able to do some magic. Also please mention that you have now read the terms and conditions from our website.

Best regards

What does "dumping funds" mean? If you mean that I have dumped money to friends for some reason, this is an outrageous statement; I have never ever in no circuimstances done this. I admit sometimes playing like fish, but I can´t understand where you have got this idea from.

Can I receive hand histories so that I can defend myself?

I know you are propably very busy but can you call me about my situation (+358xxxxxxx) or give me your phone number? This is getting ridicilous. The sad part was that I enjoyed your site and your bonus system (expecially the live tournament ticket system) and was playing more than usual (last month I raked about 1500 €). I also tried to recruit my friend to your site. Sad...

Does this envolve that I have used two forms of depositing/withdrawing (Visa and Neteller)?

I have read the terms and conditions from your website.

Hi xxxxxx!

I am sorry to infrom you, but there is no way they gonna open up again.
I got this answer from them, so as you can see there is no chance it´s gonna be opened up again, chipdumbning on intention is absolutely a no go on Mermaid Poker and the Boss network.

"We contacted the dumping accounts partner as mentioned in previous e-mail this was necessary.

And they oppose reinstating this account as the dumped account was confirmed as fraudulent and also they found at least twenty linked accounts that also was confirmed as fraud.

Taking their opinion in consideration and that we later discovered that your account received from another account as well we have decided not to reinstate this account."

Best Regards
xxxx

Tried to call you...

Okay, this is unbeliavable. I am not giving up. In two hours I will post every poker forum I know that "Mermaid Poker has stolen 2000 euros" without any evidence sent to me. I have had no means to defend myself etc. etc.

I will state again that I have never ever taken part of any chip/fund dumping in my life!

If you dont send me any hand histories (so that I can defend myself), I will post my reply to forums. Also my attearny will contact you next week.

END OF E-MAILS.

That´s it. I have only my word and I don’t expect you guys to believe me. Still I will state it here: I have never ever lost a dime on purpose online; neither have I received any chips with this method to my knowledge.

Fact is I have not been presented with any proof and I have had no means to defend myself.

Here´s my story. You can make your own conclusions about it.

wow you idiots really don't know when to flame and when to not flame. gtfo and go flame some random bad beat in a freeroll topic

I love how they want you to write a "i'm sorry" story to trick you into admitting something u didn't. that's really really lame

wow, that's pretty disgusting if you honestly didn't do anything. that's why i stay away from these small disreputable sites. they have way more incentive to screw people over for sums of money that would be insignificant to the larger sites. if you read a poker site's terms, which you agree to upon signing up, usually it states that they can basically do whatever the hell they want. too much room for shady stuff to take place

who seriously that sucks and all these trolls can gtfo.

give them hell son, give them hell. Don't just give in.
And never play on any of these small sites again, some may be good but you gotta be lucky.

In most other countries they use the (.) in the same way we in America use (,) So OP is having like $3400 stolen from him.

/sigh at Americans who think the whole world is the USA.

Seriously though... "Mermaid" poker??? What do you expect to happen? I don't feel bad for anyone who loses money on some fly by night poker site.

Go deposit on Eurolinx, FTP, or PS....

seems like a pretty risque thread talking about dumping on mermaids.

but yeah this should go in the zoo where we can discuss the actual issue in addition to mermaid fetishes. hope it works out for you OP.

Wow this sucks.

What speaks a lot in favour of OP is their fishy incentive to admit dumpig.
Why would they want him to make a statement if not to screw him over completely? "I might be able to do some magic." - LOL

I will never ever deposit in small shady rooms regardless how soft the action might be there.

I believe OP and thank OP for posting this.

I love how the Customer Service Agent can barely formulate a sentence.

Obviously English is not his native tongue and it's not his fault, but I would never want to play at a site that can't hire people who can communicate properly in my language. It comes off extremely unprofessional and shady, in my opinion.

Looking forward to people responding to my comment pointing out the spellling and grammar errors I've made =)

*edit*

I just emailed them and told them I was planning to deposit but changed my mind after reading this thread and then linked it to them.

Not that it will do much but whatever =)

this is pretty screwed, i got banned from Pokerstars cos they thought me and my friend were the same person and it was up to me to explain/prove it and everything i did wasn't enough. I mean it isn't hard to figure out by the way we play and that we have different credit cards and play micros on that site so its pretty dumb to make a fake credit card (which is almost impossible in aus) just to have 2 accounts on PS

I didn't really read OP that thoroughly, but isn't it kinda worrying/shady that the support replies are written by someone who can't actually write properly? The **** in those replies is unbelievable.

'I have requestet some HH from fraud and security.

WTF is this?

I was thinking the same, the support people probably drown themselves in alcohol because their job sucks
