I prefer the iPhone, its OS is more secure than any Android phone and app development/availability is better since there is standard hardware across all iPhones (with 7+ manufacturers making 30+ models of Android phones, it becomes hard to make an app that works on all different phones).

I still use an iPhone 4s, it works, and a new phone costs money I could do fun degen things with. Had the phone for 3(+) years it never gives me any ****.
