I just got home from a HUGE 1/3 home cash game. 2 huge fish at the table as usual at this Tuesday game! I played decent from 7 to 11 and ran my $550 starting stack into $2300. There was at least 15k on the table! Around midnight THE SPOT at the table decides he wants to do flips for side bets (he's already stuck 4k). So if you fold your hand preflop you just hold it until action is over. Best hand wins side bet. You could also win the main pot if you decide to play your hand.

I don't gamble. I play poker straight up and nothing else. BUT I've been on a down swing this month down $3500. And now up for the night almost 2k. And there's so much money on the table. So when he asked me if I'd like to flip for $200, I obliged! I was just in a **** IT kind of mood I suppose. Mind you I usually leave by 11. Gotta be disciplined!

Well I lost that $200 flip and I figured that was it for me. A one and done.
Then a THE SPOT started a chain reaction of flips with other players at the table. They got up to $800 total with 4 players betting $200. Then two did a flip for $500 each. I was eventually convinced to put $100 more in with two others to make my original $200 back. I lost again.

The next orbit I'm on the button I say **** IT to THE SPOT and put in $300 on the side and he matches. I'm dealt A5h and fold to action. My hand rivers a flush.

I let the $600 ride for the next hand and he matches. I river a 2 with A2o and win!

I let the $1200 ride. He says let's make it $1500. Ok. He only has $400 left so he says let's top it off. Ok. $3800 side bet. I win with two pair with Q6o!!!

Now I have $4700 in front of me and AHEAD for the month!! Just like that!

He talked smack to me for a while trying desperately to get me to continue. I was THIS close to doing a three way flip for $2500 each! But I regressed. I played a few more hands and cashed out a very happy winner!!

It was a hard game to walk away from

This story aint as good as what you think it is OP. I real man would have done that last $2500. Also losing $3500 in a month at 1/2 home game aint a downswing, you prob just suck at poker.

LMFAO! He's Right. I should've did the $2500 flip 3 way. Would've cost me my initial $1000 to win $7500 and if I lost i'd still be a $1500 winner for the night. A good story but not a GREAT story! Not 2+2 worthy! I'm just taking up space!

And I've lost mostly playing 2/5 but you're probably still right! I'm most likely horrible! Time will tell!! Keep the memes coming!
