As far as guns,...my ex wife used to have a 10k a month coke habit. One time she sent her dealer and his heavy over to my place to geet some money so she could buy coke. Obviously I laughed at these two. The dealer pulled a sawed off shotgun and shoved it in my mouth. I pretty much **** bricks.

Another time I tried to fight a guy very well associated with a certain motor cycle gang. This was at a nightclub. He wouldnt fight me but when I left 4 guys surrounded me, 2 had pieces and one had a taser. Strangely I walked away from that and me and that guy worked together at a later date. Mutual respect in the end I guess.

I'm guessing like with me, before poker/any obsessive hobby I was always 'bored' in a sense and knew people I shouldn't be with. Poker has kinda driven me away from all that and has given me something else to focus on. Is that what it's like with you OP?

I got into poker because I met this guy who is actually a pretty decently ranked online player who showed me how to play. He stakes me for micro stuff and is a great guy. Its kind of funny cause when I first started playing in 2005 me and this other online guy both bought into Super Tuesday on Party Poker and ended up winning it on my account, so my first win was a split of 37 thousand dollars. It was all downhill after that lol
