I raise UTG+1 to 12€ with KK. Lots of loose passive players, very call happy pre, so I raise bigger for value. I'm 125BB deep.

Old guy in MP calls, he has 50BB. He's extremely loose passive, never raises pre. Often calls until the river, almost never folds to a flop bet. Only raises post when he is sure he has it. I've seen him limp AK a couple of times during this session. He's down about 2 buy-ins. I've played a couple of hands against him, where I raise pre. Flop TPTK and just bet each street if they don't complete any draws. He pays off until the river and then folds.

The blinds call as well. 4-handed to the flop.

Flop (pot: 48€): K75

I c-bet 28€. Almost always expecting the MP player to call. He shoves, the blinds fold. I call.

He smiles and quickly tables AA. I show my set of kings, he gets angry. Dealer turns an A.

FFS. Next hand UTG I fold, and I leave the session breakeven. On tilt and quit for the evening.

Fold the turn? Maybe I was not clear in my post. I raise UTG+2 with KK. He calls. I flop top set, the nuts on the flop (at that moment). I c-bet ... he goes ALL-IN. Folding the nuts isn't optimal. It was already all-in on the turn. Can't fold ... just have to dodge the A .... hence the beat story. Yes AA is better pre ... it was far from better when it went in.

Fold turn. No dodging needed.

It's a bad beat though. You want serious answers. Raise more pre. Bet more flop. Same ****s gonna happen though, according to your reads. That's as serious of an answer as you're gonna get.

I played that hand once years ago. I raised pre, one smooth call in blinds, flop K-rag-rag, turn ace, and I have one out versus blind A-A. I was an even 100% sure I was best on turn. Beautiful hand ... for him.

In story you didn't mention what came on river did you? as if the hand is over with one out lurking. From where I'm sitting right now, I feel the need to comment that trip aces can lose to trip kings a thousand times in a row and there is nothing in this world to stop it from happening.

We got it all in on the flop, he got his A on the turn. River was a second 5, so we both had a boat.

How can you not fold the turn when he shows you aces. Ok so I guess you want to hit your 1-outer but when that misses how can you still not fold the river.

This is not a bad beat just a horrible play.

What's with the amount of trolls in this sub section. Was all in on the flop before he tabled his cards.

Why wouldn't you wait for him to show his cards before calling the all in. He was going to show eventually.

clearly you needed to get angry when the A turned in order to river the K. as played fold turn....

I rolled my eyes, muttered a swear word and threw my coffee at the guy who said he folded the case K. Didn't help. Will flip the table next time, see how that works out.

Don't get it in on the flop, then you can fold turn

Ignore the trolls. You can never fold turn here, but you need to find a fold on the river.

keep a deck of cards handy in your pocket for times like this. pull out whatever card you need and throw it on the table. winners dont accept losing, they change the rules.

Not sure you can fold the river once you've put in that much money on the turn. But it's definitely a fold on either the turn or river.
