The truly ridiculous part of this is that any casino with half a clue would do everything in their power to make a player betting big and doubling 12 against a 6 happy and want to stick around. Not UB... they lock up your win and make you never want to play again.
I can only imagine the uncontrollable laugher after hitting that 9!
Everything about this thread is perfect: the near downfall, the recovery, the reckless ignoring of strategy passed down to you by wiser men, the rise to greatness and then the tragedy of having it snatched away. If Arthur Miller had written it it would be an enduring classic of our times.

Update: got an email overnight:

First, awesome story. Second, not a big deal this will definitely be taken care of fairly quickly. IME their phone support has been way better and can usually resolve it that same day.
