HUSNG Prop Bet - 240 Buyins, 15 Days, 6 Stake-Levels

I (psimalive) would like to wager 20k to win your 60k in a heads-up sit and go prop-bet. I will attempt to win 40 buy-ins within 15 days at each of the following levels:

$2.00 + .20 regular speed games (10% rake, there are no turbos at this level)
$6.00 + .25 turbos
$11.00 + .50 turbos
$22.00 + 1.00 turbos
$33.00 + 1.50 turbos
$55.00 + 2.50 turbos

The bet will begin at 08:00 EST on October 15th, 2009, and will conclude at 08:00 EST on October 30th, 2009. I must start by playing $2.00 + .20 turbo HUSNGs and play them until I have successfully won 40 full buy-ins, including rake. This means I must make $88.00 playing $2.00 + .20 turbo HUSNGs exclusively. Then I must move up to the next level and repeat the process. At the end of 15 days, I must have made 40 buy-ins at each of the 6 levels above. This will amount to a total of $5398.00, not including FPPs or bonuses.

The odds are 3 to 1 (your $300 to my $100), and the minimum wager is $150 to my $50. I will be able to arrange for an escrow, but if there is someone who would like to volunteer please come forward. The same goes for a panel of judges.

I will keep a webcam on for all hours in which I am playing. Any bettor of at least $1000 will be given my cell-phone number and may call me once at any time that I am playing to ask me to type something in to a chat box. Bet has action regardless of unforeseen circumstances outside of my control (which may include death in the family, power outages, etc.) with the sole exception of Poker Stars being down for an extended period of time, at which point the panel of judges will determine an appropriate course of action. I will keep a daily blog with my results, which will be hosted on HUSNG.com .

This bet will abide by "The Sprit of the Bet". If it is believed that I have attempted to achieve my goal unfairly or if it is believed that a bettor has taken steps to prevent me from reaching my goal apart from rooting against me, a member of either party may propose a solution and ask the judges to moderate. If one places a wager and is found to have violated "The Spirit of the Bet", it is grounds for forfeiture. No bettor will be allowed to play any games against me. If one does, all games lost by me will be neglected in the tally, and all games won by me will be counted. This is to protect me in the event that I make my goal, but one bettor chimes in and says they played me in a match and it shouldn't count. I am allowed to make agreements with specific players to not sit with them and not be sat by them.

Confirmation of success or failure will be handled by the judges. I will request tournament histories directly from Poker Stars to be sent to the panel. If there is a Poker Stars representative who would like to be involved further, please come forward.

40 Buy-ins is the standard bankroll size recommend for low stakes HUSNG play. I am essentially attempting to win enough games at each limit to safely move-up from each stake level as though I am an up-and-coming player. The only difference is that I'm trying to do it in just over 2 weeks... across 6 different levels... 240 buy-ins. I originally constructed this bet with only turbos up to $110 + 5, but there is not enough action at that limit during all times of day for me to even have a shot at reaching my goal in such a short time-frame, so it was replaced with the 2.20 regular speed games. These, in fact, will be more difficult than the $115s because they have 10% rake and a slower structure.

I will have to massively multi-table, all-day, every day, and play my A-game on every single one of those tables past my point of exhaustion. This isn't like playing 9-mans or 45-mans where you can auto-pilot through most decisions. This is why I'm asking for 3 to 1. I will need at least 30k of action against to follow through with this bet.

Is it just me or does this seem rather easy for somebody already beating those levels? Assuming you can 4-table and beat the turbos for 10% this shouldnt take you more than a week playing 10 hours a day, right?

You need to limit the number of games you can play in each level. If not, it is just too easy for you.

Re: HUSNG Prop Bet - 240 Buyins, 15 Days, 6 Stake-Levels

You might try your numbers again. I mean, in the first place, assuming someone can 4-table at 10% ROI is nasty, but even if they could, that's still 400 games per level, and 4-tabling gets ~16 games/hr so that yields about 25 hours/level, which would mean 150 hours of playing, so 10 hours/day every day of non-stop 4-tabling better than anyone else has ever multitabled those games for.

EDIT: Obviously I think it's possible if I want to wager on it, but I realllllllly don't think this is even close to as reasonable as you make it sound. If someone else wanted to jump in and do this instead of me, I'd likely book most of their action against, save for a very small handful of people.

I'm not saying that this would be feasible at the higher levels, definitely at the levels you're planning on playing though. You might be right about the 55$s...10% at that level might be a stretch...

you mean to tell me that your average TURBO game lasts almost 15 minutes??? You might wanna check your own numbers...
