Say playing cash you get a sick one after some pf action w/ AA and some shortstack donkey shoves w/ garbage and wins, so 40% of your stack is now gone. What do you do next? Take a break, keep playing? Switch seat/table? Quit for the day? What's the best course of action in your experience that you do to come back and turn a loss into profit?

From my experience in playing live PLO, the swings can be pretty soul crushing and it does start to feel rough after losing 10 50/50, 60/40 etc flips in a row. I usually stop loss after a certain number of BIs if the game isn't great and I'm losing, but if the game is too good to not be playing I'll get up, grab a drink, have a couple smokes and hopefully come back with a fresh mind.

After some bad beats, or a series of them, I throw the opponents with an egg. Then I probably buy into another tournament (additionally to the ones running), and if I have a bad session, but still continue even when I sense that I shouldn't, and continue running bad (and as a result, likely playing some bad also), I will take an aspirin or whatever I have, and take a break.

And when I feel I have some cooled, the headache is fine enough, I might play cash, and if insta running bad there also, I will not play anymore that day, period, but I can study, or just watch movies, (make and) eat good food; it being time to celebrate that I have achieved a bad run, it giving me the rights for it. The next day could also be an outdoor day with a variety of goods in it.
