would love to hear about the buttons terrible play, reverse implied odds etc ?

I never call w/ Queen high do to RIO...

Clearly the thing to do is shove the button for value as it could possibly get better hands like A high flushes to fold. If you run into the occasional straight when value betting here, it's mostly just a cooler but at least you have a few outs to get lucky. As for the player with the straight, betting small to induce the shove is perfect poker and you just got unlucky on the river for which I am quite sorry.

hmmm I would have thought that the QJ call call was bad because there was no more money to be made and that calling 110 to make 170 was a bad play

TypeR - Your both on right points there. No money was left behind for a call. And his call of $110 to win $170 provided an EAD situation (Extremely Adverse Draw).

After much thought I guess the flush draw should have folded to the $57 understanding that he probably had the worst hand and no chance to make any more money. It's a shame how in poker the best hand and the best player don't always win.

Serious answer that JQ at low stakes might very well have thought that villains range included stuff like TPTK, which would mean he had flush draw, back door straight draw, and overcards as well.

I mean it's not a mathematically good call but you have to figure out the shover's range, not his exactly hand. A straight is the top of the range there, but at low stakes I wouldn't be shocked to see something like a pair/straight draws (or stuff like TPTK) in villains ranges, against which a hand like JQs has sufficient odds to call.
