Have you ever been slow rolled? Have you ever been slow rolled?

Lol just for the record I don't slow roll, I picked this username just because I couldn't come up with anything else at the time.

But ANYWAY

$20 single entry tournament (i know high stakes)...and 21 players entered, were about 2 hours in, bb is 400 and UTG CALLS, UTG +1 CALLS, UTG +2 CALLS....I'm next to act...Now im sitting with 4500 chips and figure this is a great spot to either go all in and scoop up all that dead money...or someone will call me and I can double up since there is 3 limpers plus the 400 bb and 200 sb in there = $1400.

UTG is to act and she says "UGGGHH.....this is a gutsy call" something to that effect, then she says "OMG EVERYONE WISH ME LUCK!!!!"

When she gives me the Corey Zeidman speech whatever you want to call it I think Huh she must have a 10 suited or something marginal since she didn't want to call...she was very short stacked...probably had 1800 total chips.

She rolls over KK

Now I know she is new to the game but is that a slow roll in your opinion? To rub salt in my F'n wound she wants to high five me after the hand is over ROTFL....I obliged lol

I hate those pretend-to-be-stupid passive aggressive players. On the bright side of things, she's playing in a ****ing live $20 tournament (60% effective rake?) and bled down to 4 BB's so she probably also fails at life too. I will guess that she's overweight, blonde or partly blonde and most likely over 35. Am right OP?

Full ring FLHE $4/$8 game, live.

I was holding A K, on the button, had reraised after an open-limper and a raiser from the cutoff came in.

Flop came down A Q 7.

I was feeling pretty good at this point, my only real worry is being anchored or seeing a set at this point. UTG checks, cutoff bets, I raise, UTG calls two bets cold, cutoff guy calls.

Turn : 7 I don't like the board pairing all that much, but I still feel reasonably ahead. Same action. Check, bet, I raise, cold call, cutoff calls.

River : 2 UTG checks, cut-off checks, I bet, and the UTG calls (after agonizing about it), cutoff folds. I turn over my hand to show the flush. The UTG takes forever, and turns over 2 2 and says "I got the ducks" and starts quacking at me.

Schmuck didn't even raise after he hit his 2-outer, and then decides to start quacking at me, going on about how luck favors the gutsy, etc., etc. Naturally, he then spent the next hour giving it away to the rest of the table. I almost couldn't even be mad because there was such a huge mental disconnect between someone sucking out and screwing it up so badly, and then still gloating about it.

I'm not a big revenge person, but if I ever see him again, and hit a set of 2's, it's going to be a time.

I would fail at life for playing too much poker, period.

Bro even the hobos wouldn't play the $20 donkament! The 10c/20c plays more like .5/1 in terms of action. They don't/wouldn't pay that kind of rake either.

Not necessarily that much of a slowroll. It's more likely that she was just very inexperienced, and for some really inexperienced players, the idea of "going all in" in a tournament is a really, really big deal, no matter what they're holding. She was probably thinking more about all of the bad things that could happen to her kings than how strong of a hand it is. I don't know without having met/seen her, but if she was saying stuff like that, it wouldn't surprise me if you were up against someone who is used to casino house table games and just happened to enter the tourney.

To OP that's not exactly a slow roll as there were people behind yet to act.

In a cash game £1/£1 we are 200bigs deep, I 3bet this old guy to £25, he 4bets to £85, I decide I can't fold KK and move all in. The guy tanks, asks for a count!!! And after a minute or so calls and turns AA
