The purple line is EV€ without Rakeback. On rb proably I've done 300€ aprox. This is on 10€ spins on pokerstars spain.

What's the difference between the yellow and purple line ?

Why do you have two different x-axis ? What do they mean ?

Re: Done man

there is no logic in having 2 different x-axis with y-axis at 0 at different levels. It's makes no sense to me.

Normally the red-line is winnings without showdown and bleu is winnings with showdown. But if that's the case he would be + 90.000 whatever. Then what is the yellow line ?

I understand the Purple EV and green net-winnings. But i have no clue to the meaning of the other 3 lines.

Yellow one are my winnings on chips. It is on 140k chips aprox. And the puprple are winnings without rakeback. Ev$ profit.

The red one are winnings on chips without showdown and the blue one are winnings after seeing the showdown.

Re: Done man

Shouldn't yellow be "blue + red ? "

And is there any meaning in knowing winnings on chips when playing tournaments ?

How is the purple line calculated ?

1. Yeah its true. Blue +red should be yellow or at least I thought it was like that.

2. Its important to know your winnings on chips because you can calculate your winrate over a long term on chips per tourney. A nice winrate on my stake would be 100 chips per tourney and a marginal winrate would be 50 c/t.

3. I'm not sure of this question. Maybe someone knows better than me. I think my purple counts every spin as if it is a x3 or x2. But im not sure of it. Just I know that line gives me my EV$ profit.

Ok ok I've found the answer j33jj3j3j. Red+blue are my green line on chips.

Here you have the example:

Re: Done man

That does make more sense ;-)

So in a rake free, jackpot free world , you would be a clear winning player.

That would be a roi of 5% i pressume ? That would be nice since spin&go's play very fast.
That would beat my 11% roi on normal speed sng's which take an hour to play.

I dont have any idea how the can calculate this EV because of the tournament structure.
How do they account for the different chipvalue during different stages of tournament ? How do they handle the jackpot factor ? Is this the EV line assuming full payout on longterm (-rake), because then you can wait at least several million hands before your winnings are egual to your EV line. (unless you have big luck of course haha)

Until now you played 2031 games at which you paid about €1500 rake ? and won €200. + €300 rb.
That's a roi of about 2.5% in my opinion that is already very good.

keeps us posted ;-)

On the long term purple and green should be close each other.

I've won like 220-250€ on rb. But still not enough. Without rb i have a 6% roi. With rb a 7,1%.

The swings of 100 BI are "standard" on spins, but I guess not every month will be the same. And also I think my winrate is above this winrate. Just I ran bad on card dist. coolers etc. I Think I could achieve 100 chip per tourney on this field. Actually winning 70chip/t so I really can improve that.

The purple line doesn't look the multipliers on spins. I don't know exactly, but it counts every spin as if it is a x2 or a x3. Don't know. But if you win a big multiplier it doesn't sum with the EV$ profit (purple line).

I guess if I play 3k or 4k games with this chipev I will be able to go to climb to 20's.

it doesn't sum with the EV$ provit ?

What do you mean by this ?

(sorry english isn't my first language)

Edit: I looked at your chart. It seems you mean that a big multiplier causes the green line to shoot up (if you win) but not the purple ? This would suggest that it even's out the jackpot.

If that is the case, then you have to play like 3 million hands and win at least 1 of 3 statistically expected big jackpots in these 3 million hands to reach the purple line.

Good luck with that !

Ye dude sorry. English isn't my first languaje too and I have problems to express myself. I have a big lack of vocabulary.

Ye, what you say on your edit is what I was meaning. When I hit and win a big multiplier the green line will go straight up but the purple one won't do it.

So it depends how you run, maybe until you don't win a big multi (x100++) you don't reach your real roi.

But still is profitable I dont think every month you'll run 100 BI under EV. Other monts you will run above EV I guess. Although I haven't had any month like that But I guess is just put in the volume.

Also I have to say I'm not playing full time actually. On 15th April I will move to a grind house and give a chance to poker full time. Hope I go don't go busto.

Re: Done man

This is what i dont understand. Wanna go play full time without actually thinking it true.

Ask yourself : how much of the money goes into the 3 biggest jackpots ?

How many hands do i have to play for that to even out ?

Hint; chance biggest jackpot 1 : 1.000.000
second biggest jackpot: 50 : 1.000.000
even third biggest jackpot is only 100 : 1.000.000 (with only 120 multiplyer)

How many hours playing is that ?
