His real Dad called me. I know him from playing local card games years ago. I wrote off the $500 he owed me due to smashing his phone and kicking him out. Figured cutting ties with him was +EV in the long run.

To be honest it is SCP fault mostly for egging him on when hes on tilt, but Max is an adult and you asked him to do a favor for you and hold your money hes at fault as well. The thing I dont get is why would you give a broke degen who straight shots it to the slots all of your money to hold. If you know you're a degen and dont want to go broke leave the extra cash at home because you know even if Max didnt blow it himself, if you got drunk and wanted to play more you'd threaten Max until he gave you your cash back so in reality you should have just kept the cash on you.

You're absolutely right, I should have never had him grab all the cash. As far as him holding it, we've had plenty of strategy talks in past. I've authorized for him to leave me stranded at the casino if I try taking money I've asked him not to give me. Even if he had to run to security. I would thank him the following day when I sobered up. It's also kind of one of the few return favors I expect of him. Pretty sad, but I need a financial babysitter when I'm in go mode.

All I can say, is for me, that alcohol is helluva drug.

Private Cuckold Goes AWOL

Where in Orlando is Cuckold?? The manhunt was on as I quickly assumed he was on the run. He was only missing for an hour at this point, so I couldn't file a missing person report. But assessing the circumstances, I was already in bounty mode. $5,000 REWARD for Cuckold the Kid. I was in the midst of a tactical sweep of the apartment when my cell phone rang. I badly wanted it to be Max, but screen read incoming call from Papi Perfecto.

Spoiler:

He must have gotten to the dealership after I took back off looking for Max. Apparently he wanted to know what was going on now. The Orange County Sheriffs showed up there looking to speak to me. They said that they received a phone call from Private Cuckold stating they he was assaulted and in fear for his life. Backup was dispatched to retrieve Cuckold off the side of the road about 50 feet from the dealership. It appeared as soon as I left to get lunch with C-Dog, his window of opportunity to flee was there. I didn't see this coming at all. Private Cuckold went on to explain to the Sheriffs that he didn't want to press charges for the alleged "assault". He just needed to get back home to his wife and kid in Mass. I never once put my hands on him or threatened to for that matter. But Max was desperate I guess. The Sheriffs did say they found this odd with his erratic behavior and him having no visible marks. Papi explained that Max is going through some tough times and he should be fine. Offered to pick him up at the station, but Max declined.

I was already in route back to the dealership as I was getting all the details from Papi. I called Max's phone and sent numerous text telling him to get it together. All with no response as he was sitting at the police department. The officers did say Max wanted his belongings and they would escort him to our building to retrieve them. It was absolutely mind boggling what was going on. I've been in this man's corner for many years now. I was told countless times by him that I was the only one(aside from his grandma) ever there for him. His own mother, brother, close "friends" didn't care to talk to him while he was deployed and venting about his cheating wife. His whole life has been a joke, but me having a soft spot for charity cases I've been a true friend to him. Him owing me money has now made me the enemy. I've done much more for him then just lending money. Sure I've gotten amusement out of his Degeneracy, but genuinely have been a friend to him. For everything I have done, I expected loyalty in return. What happened here was cowardly. As The Degeneral, Private Cuckold was receiving a Dishonorable Discharge.

As I previously mentioned, I have an issue with needing instant gratification when resolving conflicts. I was flustered in a haze of anger. When he never showed to pick up his stuff, I called over and over. C-Dog got a call all of a sudden from Max's brother. Now I know some families have the slow sibling, but all the inbreeds in this tree are slow. Brother Cuckold stated he heard I was going to kill the baby(Cuckold Jr.). Wanted to know if it was true, if so, he was booking a flight from North Carolina to Massachusetts that night. I wasn't sure if he was inquiring so he could possibly intervene on the murder or just so he didn't miss the wake. So I called him myself to be as condescending and confrontational as possible. I had to take my frustration out on someone. I confirmed he was a Cuckold too by independently thinking about it after ending the call. All seriousness, he actually was. He moved to NC with the best friend of Max's wife, another scandalous, caked on make-up looking, Sisqo thong wearing, late model Civic driving, Taco Bell eating, back-shot taking, eggplant worshiping, urban servant.

Going off on him didn't resolve the situation and I soon realized I would have to just confront Max in person when I returned home. We both had the same return flight booked for Sunday, but I was able to see he changed his because I paid for his flight. The itinerary adjustment was e-mailed to me. So I guess I wouldn't be seeing him on the flight. Silence broke Sunday morning though. He sent me an essay of an apology. He said he was having a nervous breakdown and wasn't sure what I would do to him if he didn't get me the money by the time we got home. Just said he wants to see his son for Halloween and after that he will make everything right with me. This was some what of a tension relief for me. I figured he was back home with his girl already and told him to drop in my mailbox a Movado watch I lent him. He did that and I told him to relax, that we would sort everything out when I got back.

Spoiler:

On top of the stress from Max, I was dealing with being short-handed. We lost Tone(Papi's cousin), Snap-Chatty Patty, and now Cuckold. You could also tell Papi wasn't in a good place. More and more had been coming to light about his past and current predicament. I had a sit-down with Papi and his other business partner to try and sort out being upside-down. The dealership was in the partners name so he ultimately made final decisions. If I recall correctly, the figure at the time was roughly $6k he owed him. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. I was pretty blind to the accounting because I had no bank access. Also didn't care much about paperwork at all. Cash was king for me. We all agreed what needed to be done was for me to take charge of handling the money. Papi was going to be on a very minimal take until he cleared his outstanding debt. I was just to deal with the partner directly. As far as the money I was owed on the side from Papi, I basically never paid overhead. No matter what it was, even our apartment. I would even pocket the rent from our guests. So with this new arrangement I decided it was best if I stayed a bit longer in FL. So I pushed my return flight out about a week. I needed to figure out how to run everything from a document standpoint quickly. Thank God C-Dog stuck it out. He was now the accountant, "The Stove", he cooked the books. Joking aside, he was good with paperwork and it helped he had background as a service adviser at franchise dealers.

Spoiler:

Now that I was made aware of the current situation, the past was brought up at the sit-down. I've seen plenty of pics and heard plenty of tales about Papi living the high-life in the past. Claims to have been a millionaire. Could have been possible with the money he was making. Problem was, the proceeds were all from a telemarking gig that was deemed fraudulent. Millions were taken and I was able to confirm these claims with the help of Google. Papi currently has an injunction filed against him. It was reported he was making $1,500 to $2,500 a day from this scheme. It went on for years from what I heard.

Spoiler:

Now all the stories I heard from his wife about him blowing $10-$15k a weekend in Miami made sense. All the cars he was driving, the mansion in Windemere, gold chains, Robin jeans, pics with guns and cash. He was a robocall hustler living like a rap-star.

(Entrance for Block Party on Church St. in front of building)

Papi always seemed to sleep good. But I had a lot on my mind at the time. I couldn't even go out for Halloween. It's a pretty big holiday in Orlando for some reason. The whole weekend is lit downtown. I somehow found a way to sleep in even with the block party in front of our building blasting away. C-Dog and Papi refused to miss that weekend. Papi just wore a button up every night and told people he was a "Boss". C-Dog was a hit I guess as Napoleon Dynamite. I was so stressed I remember one of the nights, Deebo's cousin Jeremy brought up two good looking mulatto chicks. He woke me up offering this handout, but I declined and went back to sleep. He smashed one, but the friend wanted hers. So Napoleon reaped the benefits.

Spoiler:

The following week made sure to be on top of my business game. Being that I was leaving C-Dog down here for a couple weeks till I return, I wanted to make sure he would be OK. Just went I thought we were getting back on track, I got the call from the partner. Numerous outstanding checks finally hit the account. Papi was really upside down. I didn't know the full damage at the time, but sounded like $20k or so. Papi must have had online access because he took off early that morning. He seen the checks hit like an atomic debt bomb. I had no idea where he was and he wouldn't answer my calls. His wife was calling me inciting a Baker Act. The partner was livid. Looked like the dealership was getting shutdown. Timing was terrible because I was flying home the following day. Come to find out, Papi went and stole more money that morning. He cashed a check that was payment for a vehicle, then took the money to the auction with a friend of his. This friend was a dealer himself. He then bought cars under this friend's dealership so he could flip the money on the sales. It didn't take long for the friend to figure out Papi was stealing from the partner. The friend knew the partner, and out of respect called him. Papi's run was done.

I told C-Dog to sit tight for 2 weeks while I'm gone. I promised I would get us up and going again. I just had to scramble to make sure I pulled all my earnings out and get them home safely.

LOL what was up with the non-casino poker chips in the back of the cash pic? Are they worth something in your in-apartment poker
game?

Ramon is such a scum bag. He's probably the biggest scum bag you've written about and top 5 in 2+2 history.

EAD Nate.. When you're known for a gambling background, you sometimes get gifted decorative poker-themed candle holders. Fits 3 tea lights comfortably.

Now I want one! The candle holder not the EAD you can kindly hand that back to Papi's sister

On my phone it just looked like some random home game chips shoved in the back of a fat bankroll

I heard his version of it, plus read the courts version of it online. You can Google the latter yourself.

Basically he had contacts setup with payment processors and were offering a service for a fee. Ramon was on the robocall side of it. He had automated calls going out offering to slash customers credit card debt in half or more and boost their FICO.

Once the caller bought the automated sales pitch they would press 1 and get transferred to a live person. They were promised those same debt and credit guarantees. Saving them 10's of thousands of dollars. All that was needed was a credit card from the customer and they would be billed a fraction of the savings after their credit was "fixed".

Turns out that were instantly charged a service package cost of $1,600ish up front. Some if not most of the customers would dispute these charges. But they had some good 3rd party processors in their corner to fight the disputes. So a good amount of disputes were lost when the consumer didn't put up a diligent fight.

For those that won, it took a minimum of 90 days for a return of the funds. In the duration that money was flipped in other "hustles". I've heard from numerous sources the courts audit of Papi's commission wasn't anywhere near what he got. It was all cash and it was blown every week on partying. To this day he doesn't have a single tangible item to show for the untold millions he made on the untracked telemarketing grind.

Note that I do see guys of his old crew that were smarter with their money. They're still driving around exotic cars, living in high-end homes, wearing a ton of jewelry. Every time I see one of them, they just got back from an island, or their leaving the club with dimes.

So I literally created this account just to say how much I freaking LOVED this epic thread. You, WarmDeck, are hands down one of the best writers of ‘degen experiences’ I have ever read. I enjoy reading books in this genre and your stories are better than most professional writers including Tucker Max or the Deke Castleman (who wrote ‘Hunting Whales in the desert’). When you throw in the pictures and videos, I felt like I was living those experiences through you.

I couldn’t stop reading this thread and went through the entire thing in a couple of days. Just wanted to say thanks a bunch for the hours of endless entertainment and I really appreciate the time and effort it must have taken for you to put this together over the years.

Living in south Florida for about 3 years now and the scams down here seem to be endless. Between the boiler rooms (debt consolidation, ad space, google listings, precious metals etc.) and "treatment centers"/insurance fraud this place has been the modern day wild west since mid 2000's. Im not complaining though... the poker is solid

I guess if you're originally from Florida, everything may seem normal to them. But at least guys like you and I can notice the anomaly in society down there. Must be something in the water..

I haven't talked to Rockets in a bit. I recently seen a post from him in the Degen thread about running really bad. As of right now I'm going to assume the trip is off.

*Also have some bad news*

I was down at MGM National Harbor weekend before this past. The action was absolutely amazing. The casino and harbor area is really nice. Would definitely recommend a trip if you haven't been already.

Thanks to the 24 hour alcohol I indulged hard. Finally passed out around 1pm on check out day. The consistent knock and phone ringing at 2:30pm woke me up. I was in a daze and rushed packing up my stuff to vacate the room. Wasn't until I got home that I realized I left a phone behind. I have a FL line and a MA line. The FL one is generally only used when I'm there so I didn't notice I was without it initially, since I had my primary phone in hand.

Not a big deal that I lost that phone considering the screen is cracked and I'm waiting on the new iPhone release next month. Problem is that it's the phone I stored all my good pics/footage of debauchery from FL on. No cloud backup on that one, just my primary phone. Left phone active with a message to call me if found, but no luck so far. Puts a massive damper on future updates missing all the goodies I had stored on there.

Wish me luck on a good samaritan returning the device. One Time!!
