My degen story is that I run around in forums telling people what to do, becuase I do it, and I obviously bank all the time. Then I check PT and think "wtf is this red stuff?" when I see im down 1k in April. One minute later, I´ve forgot all about it and im on it again. Or, I decide to go out shopping, because I run so damn good right now making tons of cash. Then I check PT again and think "wtf is this red stuff?", and repeat.

Not super funny, but definatly a bit degen. I´ve went so far with my mental work that it might even have caused a counter productive bubble of Joy.

I was pretty degen 3 days ago..

1 - lost a few buyins at $55hu games
2 - decided to play some $169 sup turbo games - DDbeast chipbullied, I called with big hands and got busted

3 - played $2200 hu sng - lost with a flip
4 - had $300 left in my account
5 - flipped with bbv
6 - 69>K8
7 - deposited $500
8 - grinding

My friends remember when I had like a $400 roll and me talking about it, and now they know I'm making 7-15k per month. $8000 - $10,000 = 100nl (4 tabling) (2 weeks)

$10,000 - $40,000 = 200nl (6 tabling) (3 months)

$40,000 - $65,000 = mostly 200nl, some 400nl (8 tabling) (6 months)

$65,000 - ~80k = 70% 200nl, 30% mix of 400nl, 600nl, 1000nl, or 100nl on dry days) usually 8-12 tabling (4 months or so)

Always studying the game, always trying to get better. Be a hater if you want. Went to live with parents to grow roll rom 10k to 40k, moved back on my own and been paying all bills since.

When I was 20, I was degening real bad in my life.

I had access to a large overdraft on my checking account and decided to put an empty envelope in a withdraw $3000x5 and get a BR together and then pay it back when I could. (It seemed like a good idea at the time). I figured that by the time they would find the envelopes, I would have rectified the situation.

I took the money and went on a 2 week booze, fishing and coke binge in Cabo with a hot girl and came back with $5k. She grabbed a cab from the airport and I went straight to the casino. I was planning on paying rent and then grinding, but I lost it all playing blackjack in 15 min.

I laugh about it now, but it was very degen at the time
