I actually left!!! I kept playing 1/2 and a few more hands of baccarat but I ended up $1100 extra overall today. I am proud of myself and I believe that 2+2 had a big influence in my decision to leave as I walked by the Paigow poker table there was an open seat I had seven grand in my pocket and I was itching to play but as I look at degen stories while in the post it said leave and suggest a good advice I did not playthe money meant too much right now to lose it. I did lose $225 at the 1/2 ml poker tables I admit I played awful there today...tips drinks and buffet. But it was pretty degen overall today. The visit to the bank for nearly my credit limit on cash advance after a $1100 loss at blackjack roulette and come back in that mother****er and just start winning big over and over was incredible. ^The degens are simply telling him this is a marathon, not a sprint...we know he's gonna gamble later and we are gonna hear about it; just putting him on ice for a while and have him enjoy the fruits of degeneracy. Gambling is fun lets face it, people always liked risk. Recently several people climber the dawn wall- steep 3000 ft wall that they climbed and slept on for 19 days to make it. Its adrenalin pumping, plus you are interacting with people, plus alcohol and music going, its a good time usually. But the reason I feel like a degen, is ironic, its because I want to stop gambling, but can't seem to. Especially after a big loss, I just felt so crushed by it, lost 3500 in a day, but now i got a lucky streak to be up some decent money, and i have 2 paychecks coming in next thursday. Going to spend some time skiing, going out with my wife, may even play a poker tournament next week, but am going to just take like $300 for cash and the tournament, no other cards or cash. The problem is I worry what if I lost the cash, had no cards, and ran out of gas? Because the casinos are about 2 hours for NYer's, so one time this actually happened. I played Pai Gow all night, lost all I brought and maxed out my cc. Gas light is on going back to NY, and were not going to make it. Went to a gas station, begged for a $10 "loan of gas" would give my address, phone, etc....Nope, they weren't going for it. I called my cc, they would not approve a limit increase immediately, it had to be reviewed. So I had to beg them, they finally increased $50 for me so i could get home...lol

GL to you! My advice is Play poker tournaments first, if you cash big, leave. If you break even, stick to baccarat mate, well craps if you like, but in baccarat bet player only when your feeling it. Do not deviate from betting player, sit out if banker is winning.

this way you don't pay commission, and player seems to be the better bet overall.

Thanks straightflucked! Yeah, tournaments first because otherwise if i donk off money at baccarat/craps ill be on tilt the whole time. Interestingly enough, from a pure odds perspective - banker is a better bet, even with the commission.
