My newest degen story, dealer pointed out $100 chip next to my chair last night, thought it fell out of my pocket with the others. Recounted all my money at home and realized someone else dropped it under my chair (I asked the table if it was anyone else's)

Just to prove how bad this guy is at trolling. Look at the bolded part of his story. He claims that he flipped over the ace of spades before he is all in. It was 3-handed and if you expose any cards your hand is dead at almost ALL places. Since he also mentioned this was at a casino it's clear as day that this guy is a BS poster and should be banned. Also, anyone with Yolo in their name is always a douche.

Here's my degen episode from last weekend. It's not your standard going to the casino getting wasted and betting ridiculous sums of money in the pit. It's an online poker degen spree.

I apologize for the TL;DR, but I think it's worth a read. I'm sure most of us can relate at least a little bit to some of the stuff I did.

I've been keeping my degen monkey caged up for quite some time now. I swore off pit games and I've stuck to it for about 6 months. I'm 25 and I earn a pretty modest wage at my work so I've tried to make a poker career several times and failed. Mostly due to poor BRM, tilt and pit problems.

Last Friday I deposited $40 onto bovada and decided I was going to try and grind up a roll. I had 3 or 4 bullets I was willing to deposit so I decided to play some .05/.10 and .10/.25 zone (zoom) poker. Obviously this is poor BRM to start with but I didn't want to waste my weekend grinding the micros. I started off running great. I grinded my roll over $100 and played a $3 MTT and some .10/.25 PLO. Final tabled it and ended the night at around $300.

I didn't play too much on Saturday I went out and watched some basketball. But when I came back home I loaded up 3 .10/.25 PLO tables. Grinded a $150 profit for the night and went to sleep (BR at ~$450).

Sunday was a long day. I started out playing some $3-$10 MTTs and some cash. I realized now that I actually had a big enough of a roll to grind .10/.25 with proper BRM. I 4 table three .10/.25 PLO and one .10/.25 NL zoom table. And have about 5 MTTs going simultaneously. Things start off amazing. I am crushing like I have never before in Omaha. I kept track and I was up 8 buyins in about an hour. $200 an hour not bad. I decided to enter this $4 satty to the 100k guaranteed ($165 buyin). Only one seat got in and I ended up heads up with the chip lead. 2nd place was about $80 and the guy told me he didn't want the ticket. He said his BR was busto and he wanted the money. He threw the match to me so I got the ticket lolz.

So I'm steadily grinding cash and MTTs have some solid stacks going. The 100k guaranteed started and I'm actually kinda nervous. I haven't played a MTT with a first place prize over 27k in a while. I probably should have just one tabled this but I was basically 12 tabling at this point. I continue crushing the cash games and take a shot with adding two .25/.50 PLO tables to the mix. My rolls up to about $800 and I'm about 3 hours into the 100k tourney.

I have about 16k in the tourney and we're getting close to the money. I have pocket 8s in the MP and I open the 2.5x. BB (fish) calls and the flop is 652 rainbow. He donk bets and I raise him 3.5x. He calls and the turn is a 7. He checks and I bet 3/4 pot. He calls and the river is an ace. He checks and I check behind because I thought it was too thin for value and it's pretty hard to put this guy on a hand. He tables ace 9 off and im down to 9k. I steadily drop my stack being card dead and trying to at least min-cash for a nice payday. If I remember correct I'm down to 5k and the blinds are 200/400. We're about 70 spots from the money. I get AQ suited OTB and the cutoff min opens which he has been literally raising every unopened pot. I shove and ofc he has AK and stacks me.

At this point I'm a little disheartened because I had hopes that I would bink that tourney if not at least min cash. I'm not upset with my play because I don't even know if I had enough chips to fold my way ITM. Anyway, I'm not tilted because I only lost $4 from the satty. Then it begins, the inevitable downswong of downswongs. I set over set a guy deep stacked (200bb) in .10/.25 Omaha. Of course he 1 outters the quads on the river. This kind of tilted me because he had some trash hand like 227J and he called a raise pre. Not to mention it was a pretty significant portion of my roll.

At this point, I'm at about 4/10 on the monkey tilt-o-meter. I just start losing every pot no matter how I play it. It literally felt like some guy working at bovada was like, "Hey guys check this guy out he's been running amazing. Let's hit the doomswitch on his account and laugh as he loses every hand". Obviously, I don't actually believe in it being rigged but it is pretty sick how amazingly good you can run. Then 5 minutes later you run worse than you have in your entire life. I tried tightening up which is usually what I do when I tilt. I was just nutting with ace high suited hands that play for the nuts. I kept getting it in with monsters and they would win with garbage.

I won't bore you with all the hand histories but I basically lost half of my roll at .25/.50. I'm at about a 7/10 on the monkey tilt-o-meter. I decide to move up to 100NL heads up with about a $400 BR. Solid BRM imo. I get stacked by this LAGtard and he says "come at me bro" in the chat box. Normally this kind of petty talk wouldn't affect me but he managed to tilt me up to an 8.5/10. I reload and tell myself I am going to stack this guy and laugh at him when I do. I grind my stack up to $120ish and finally get aces. I'd been 3 betting a lot and he calls. Flops king high and we get it in he has king 8 and I somehow held up. I finally won a hand! Was my run-bad over?

He snap leaves the table after this hand and I managed to profit about 40 bucks. I really wanted to stack that fish so my tilt has only gone down to a 7/10. I sit down at another 100NL heads up table and quickly realize this guy is a crusher. At this point I couldn't care less but I ended up losing 2 buyins to him. Now it's getting late and I'm down to about $250. Thinking of how the fk I could possibly get unstuck tonight. I say **** it, YOLO, martingale time. 400PLO here I come.

I sit down and start potting almost every hand. Amazingly, I'm winning. They are actually folding to my 3 bets and opens pre. I probably won about $100 non showdown already. I get aces double suited and I 3 bet, much to my surprise this guy had enough of me and he 4 bets. We get it in and my aces hold. I'm up to about $700! I'm actually happy and at this point I'm content with going to bet. I click the sit out next hand box before the next hand is dealt. And much to my delight of Bovada's trash software, it doesn't sit me out. Of course I get aces again on the button. I open and the SB 3 bets me. I look at his stack and see he covers me. I think, being this deep a 4 bet doesn't accomplish much because my hand will be face up and he can justify calling with anything. For some degen reason I 4 bet him and he calls. Flop is king jack 8 with 2 diamonds. I don't have diamonds but I pretty much threw up on the flop. I forget how much is exactly out there but he checks and I check behind. The turn is an offsuit 3 and he bets about $150. I call for some ungodly reason. All I have is aces and no draw to improve. The river is an offsuit 9 but an insane amount of 2 pairs, q10 is a straight got there. I knew in my heart that I was already beat and I made one of the worst calls of my life. I was down to about $400 after the hand and I was just too butthurt to continue playing at that table.

At this point its past midnight and I gotta get up in 6 hours. I'm just so drained from all of the adrenaline and getting crushed. I'm still at about a 9.5/10 on the monkey tilt-o-meter. But, like Urubu (forget his name), I never give up! I see a 6 person NLHE SNG for $200 and its 4/6. First is $780. I snap reg it. I have about $200 left and I throw it on another 2/4 PLO table. About the 5th hand in the SNG I had pocket 10s. I 3 bet pre got 2 callers. Flop was 10 4 2 rainbow. First guy jams 2nd guy calls. I'm like is this real? They must have aces and kings. I call and they table KQ and 10 8. How is this even possible? I thought for sure these guys would be some high stakes crushers but they were terrible.

I was doing pretty well on the PLO up to about $250 and I flop a wrap + flush draw. I had 45710. The flop was 368. We get it in and he has 42JK. He wins the pot with a pair of 4s. I vacantly blinked at my monitor for about 10 seconds wondering how in the hell a pair of 4s won that pot.

So now my account balance is $0 and all I have left is the SNG. Still 4 people left and I have over 4k in chips. One guy gets eliminated and we're down to 3 handed. These last 2 seemed to be decent. Definitely better than the other fish I eliminated. I've been grinding this guy down stealing pots. I had about 5 k and the short stack had 1k. He had been shoving a lot of hands and he shoves OTB. Blinds are 50/100, I have ace 4 in the bb and I call figuring he has to have a lot of junk in his range shoving this much. Of course he has AQ and doubles up. I'm down to 4k and the other guy min opens to 200. He started with 2k and I have pocket 4s. I shove and he snap calls with 98 suited. OFC he wins and I'm down to 2k, only 2 get paid. A few hands later I get k4 of hearts OTB blinds are 100/200. I shove and the same clown calls with 9s. This is it, I'm back to busto, reality was coming crashing down on me. Flop is ace queen jack with 2 hearts. I have 2 hearts! My heart starts pumping a million beats per second. turn is a 10! I scream YESSSSS! Probably woke up my neighbors but idgaf. It just felt like justice had been served. I have 4k now in the bb and the button shoves with about 2k. I have king jack. I tank, thinking of how much this guy was shoving and end up calling. He has king 3. No 3 to be seen and I stacked him. Yessss, I'm not going busto after all. Now to finish off the guy who called all in with 98. First hand I get pocket 7s. I min open, he shoves, I snap. He has ace queen. I announce "ONE TIME!" and the board runs out k109104. $780 in my account.

I put on some music and got my victory dance on. I couldn't believe it. Miraculously, I didn't go busto. I insta withdrew $450 and went to bed. Even though I was drained more than if I had just ran 10 miles, I couldn't sleep. I just kept thinking of what a degen I was. Maybe some day I will be able control this sickness. I have tons of crazy stories of when I used to have a pit game addiction. I have stories of winning and losing 5 figures. I guess it just depends how people respond to this story. I'll probably get trolled by the BBVer's but idc really. Hater's gonna hate.

i exposed 1 card of my hand this happens all the time in casinos wheter on accident or on purpose ive never seen the hand killed over it and idoubt the floor will even try to do something like that to me

Just curious but why would you post a degen story I posted a while ago? Considering my roll on Bovada was miniscule compared to my liferoll, I don't even consider that too much of a degen story. I'd just like to know your reasoning behind posting it again. Thanks.
